Big yellow eyes scanned the clearing for someone to talk to. Today was a pretty slow day, and Needlepaw was ridiculously bored. With nothing to do, it usually meant she would find a cat to annoy. Her eyes landed on what appeared to be an apprentice she didn't know, and she prepared to strike.

She padded around the edge of the clearing nonchalantly, hoping to stay out of Dogpaw's point of view until she was behind the other apprentice. Then, practicing the stalking technique Roseeyes had taught her a few days earlier, the black tabby slowly--and hopefully silently--crept up on the apprentice. Once she was less than a tail-length away, Needlepaw sat up and simply said, "Ouch. That looks like it hurts." She put on an innocent smile, hoping that she'd startled the she-cat

Blackpaw was practically shaking with excitement. “Ok so try to jump on my back, land some swipes to my head and jump off before I do a counter move. If you want you could practice on the rock to get your balance.”

Falconkit grinned very mischievous and leaped over him. She aimed to bat at him with sheathed paws while she landed in his back. Then she sprang off and skidded to a stop. "Like that?" She smiled proudly. "You have felt Falconstar's power, Blackrump!"

Blackpaw shook his head to the name but smiled nonetheless. “That was perfect, wanna see if you’re mom would let us take a walk, I want to see if I can catch some stuff and maybe you could too.” he asked hopefully.

Falconkit looked at him sadly. "I can't. I am not allowed to leave because I am still grounded until I am an apprentice. But we could hang out around here?" She then leaped at him to bowl him over, hoping to catch him by surprise.
