May Gathering

Deadpool trotted in behind the rest of her clan. She was unconcerned with who was first and who was last, more intrigued with why in the world everyone looked so beaten up. Did all of them fight with coyotes or twolegs? Deadpool was tempted to go see where Ripplemouse and Shockpaw were. She was not big on chatting with cats she was unfamiliar with, she'd get nervous and her word would become impossible to understand then.
So she wandered around looking for either cat, Deadpool catch a glimpse that familiar face. Usually, she'd just run up and say hello to any old friends, however, she felt a little strange after their last encounter. They hadn't exactly parted on good terms. In the end, she decides to just go with it. If he didn't want to talk she could always go find Shockpaw.
"Nettlespark, salutations." The chimera greeted as she walked over to the ShadowClan tom. It looked like he had some new injuries as well. "Fight whole forest been ShadowClan?"

Maybe it was his "adulting" issues setting in. Yech.

"I wonder when the leaders will speak?" Lavenderstripe said half to her self. She was still so confused as to why Ashpaw wasn't acting evil. She was loyal to her clan. But... maybe the were wrong about somethings. It was possible. Lavenderstripe didn't know what to think... but she could worry about it later. For now she would just enjoy the gathering.

Myrtlepaw watched the two for a bit more before seeing Doepaw mouth something... which he assumed was for him. He padded up to join the group, which had also seemed to have taken on a third cat while he waited. He greeted Doepaw with a gentle nudge, taking a seat close by as he turned his focus to the other two cats who had introduced themselves. If everyone else had already done it... he may as well introduce himself as well. "I... am... am... Myrtlepaw. Also from... Thunderclan... but I... I came... there from... from Shadowclan..." He was unsure why he brought that fact up, it made him uncomfortable. He dipped his head uneasily, dreadfully anticipating the next word barrage of this Ripplepaw character.

Blackpool slunk out of the Gathering. Her feelings were overwhelming her... She needed some air. She ran away, out of the Seastones, past ShadowClan territory, past... everything. She looked back. Everything she knew was here. But she didn't belong. She flicked her tail and disappeared over the dark ridge, a flitting shadow in the vast night. And she was gone.

Frogpaw shuffled in alongside the rest of her clanmates, positively bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. There were so many cats. It was hard to imagine there could be so many people in on place all at once and even more at camps that hadn't tagged along. It would almost be scary if she didn't see it all as an opportunity for mischief. The smell too - the rank smell of ocean water and fish - made her wrinkle her nose. It smelled like those stinky RiverClanners. Oh, the sand as well. It would take a bath of too to get all of that out of her fur. Hard to be scared when you too busy scheming and trying to shake the tiny grains of discomfort out of her pelt. As she took her seat, green eyes wandered the crowd. Who to talk to? So many choices.

Looking around, Creekpaw's blue eyes landed on a tabby she. Trotting over, he annouced himself, "Hey, I'm Creekpaw! You?" The distince smell of ShadowClan clung to the younger she. Frogpaw looked like she just became an apprentice but, he him self had been an apprentice for a while.

Splashfury grunted as she stood next to her leader. She wished that he didn't have to feel heartbreak. You should be more careful next time if there is any next time, she thought, This is why I chose not to do love since I was a kit.

Surprise registers in his expression when he finds himself face-to-face with Deadpool. At first, the tom merely sits there staring at her, as if he'd forgotten what words were. "Uh..." Blinking, he nods slowly. "You could say that, I guess," he meows after another moment of stupidity and fluff in the brain. Was she really commenting on that, of all things? "Although in our defense... We were ransacked without notice." He probably shouldn't have been telling her, but no one was around to tell him so. "What about you, though? Have you been doing better?" They hadn't left off on fantastic terms... And Nettlespark still kicked himself for it, but maybe she would be okay with putting that behind her. He sure as hell wished he could.

Cormorantpaw trailed into the clearing of sea stones with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. He’d been looking forward to his first gathering for pretty much all of his six moons of life, but it seemed that the events of his first day of apprenticeship had tainted all warrior related activities in his mind. His illusion was shattered. Being in a clan wasn’t perfect and being a warrior wasn’t some great gift. Life was hard and dark and painful and it no longer made sense to him to put places like Seastones on a pedestal because they were denied to him at a young age. Besides, he didn’t particularly want to see Shadowclan. The young tom didn’t know his feelings as to the clan but he was too confused about everything to handle it and their presence brought only more confusion. Somehow, waiting out the battle in the nursery hadn’t been nearly as bad as witnessing Breezekit’s death and Duskstar’s paws, yet he could bring himself to neither blame or exonerate the leader or the other clan. Perhaps it was not having a place to direct his fear, anger, and pessimism that made him feel messed up. Or maybe it was the terrible pain of disillusionment with everything he once held dear.
Stuck on these thoughts and chewing them over in his mind over and over again, Cormorantpaw had forgotten to watch where he was walking. The black and grey tom bumped straight into a she-cat and quickly backed away. “Oh, I’m sorry,” he meowed absentmindedly, forcing himself to pay attention to the cat in front of him. She looked around his age at least so he hadn’t bumped into a warrior, which he was thankful for. Her clan scent hit him, though, in the next moment and Cormorantpaw internally sighed at the smell of Shadowclan. Great, he sighed pessimistically to himself, figuring that there would be no peace of mind to be found tonight- not that he’d really expected to find the answers to his problems in the middle of a tense gathering of clans who weren’t very happy with each other. Or, to be more precise, three clans who weren’t very happy with Shadowclan and Shadowclan who never seemed to be happy with anyone.

softpaw caught up with her mother, her fur was raised and her heart thumping,"hey mom, is it ok if I stay next to you?" softpaw dipped her head slightly, once she had asked.

Splashfury decided to put off her anger for tonight for the sake of not wanting to make her ancestors angry. "It's a truce tonight, hold yourself back and try to interact with other cats." she muttered to herself. She trotted over to the Thunderclan cats and saw Sycamorerain who looked inviting.
