Quiverpaw followed her clanmate's gaze over to where most of the ShadowClan population was sitting, noticing that some of them did indeed have cobwebs and poultices still in place over their wounds. She imagined they were the warriors least hurt in the battle and grimaced at the thought that there were probably worse cats at their camp who wouldn't have been able to travel to the gathering tonight. The apprentice didn't know the whole deal going on with ShadowClan and RiverClan, so she really didn't know what to feel besides pity for those who were hurt as a result. She only half-listened as Icestar announced, but Quiverpaw obviously perked up to attention as Twilightstar began. There obviously wasn't much to announce, but that was usually a good sign of the clan mostly keeping to themselves and out of trouble with any of the other leaders. Though, taking down a coyote was certainly something to be proud of - glad that the leader chose to include that part since it showed that they were strong. She meets Elderpaw's gaze as Twilightstar finishes, returning the smile. "Seems that way," She agreed with a chuckle. "I'm certainly glad I'm here in WindClan, that's for sure." The apprentice decided to change the subject as they waited for Duskstar to announce. "So, I'm taking it you've been to one of these gatherings before?"

To answer her question, Elderpaw nods. "Mhm, one of them a few moons ago. It was cold!" Looking back, that was really the first time the little apprentice had begun to really observe the world around her. It was the beginning of her inquisitive thought. It was also when she'd met Sootflare, and Fawnsqueak. Two RiverClan toms who'd been kind enough to speak to the new apprentice. Of course, she felt that was only because of the topic at-paw back then was her questioning RiverClans's actions... Something about destroying fresh-kill? Was it? She couldn't remember by now, though she still recalled Fawnsqueak's advice. "They always talk to one another like they're the worst things in the forest," Elderpaw sighs, tilting her head as if she were trying to figure out some logical answer as to why it was the case. "And I don't like the leaders very much... Except for Twilightstar, of course! We're all warriors, and that's good, but they kinda look like they're just taking swings at each other using us. Maybe someone ought to tell them just to duke it out amongst themselves already!" A short laugh concludes her idea.

Whispertail looked up in fear. "I-i-it's a gathering," he stammered. "I was trying to help Lavenderstripe @WhiteStripes @Breezefur

"Shadowfoot, watch it, this is a gathering. I told you, I'm leaving. Let him go!" Lavenderstripe said forcefully, and shoved him off of Whispertail. "Go... I'll come find you in a minute, I want to talk to you." Lavenderstripe told Whispertail softly.
"Go back to ShadowClan, let me be for a while."

"That was very brave of you to stand up to Shadowfoot, he is a dangerous warrior," Lavenderstripe told Whispertail when they were out of the way of Shadowfoot, "Why did you do that?"
