Magpiepaw looked away, trying to avoid the question. "Have you tried a... uh.. lizard? They're really.. uh.. good!" The words felt sour on Mapiepaw's tongue. He HATED lizard. It was disgusting and slimy. What had happened to him? He used to be so happy.. and honest..

Bubblekit shook his head. "No, other kits tried them, saying they didn't like them, so I never tried it. "

Mudkit yawned as sunlight flickered into the nursery, waking him up. He grumbled about having to wake up as he sat up in his nest. He took a deep breath and sighed, giving his short brown tabby pelt a bit shake. He looked around the nursery with his big light blue eyes. He started to groom his pelt, making any stray pieces of fur go back into place.
Mudkit got up quickly and walked fast over to the opening of the nursery. He was a fast kit, faster than the average kit at least. He smiled as he looked into the clearing, seeing cats bustle around and share tongues. He was glad when none of them looked over at him. He hated being the center of any cats attention. He prefered to stay in the back and stay quiet.
