Puddlepaw glanced up as a warrior began to approach him through the crowd, and he began speculating that the incoming tabby was presumably his reassigned mentor. The warrior's words of greeting only confirmed that assumption. "Yup, I'm Puddlepaw. Nice to meet you too!" His voice was cheery, light, and unwavering, failing to illustrate the thoughts and worries that were racing through his head in that moment. Though they hadn't even spoken more than a couple of small sentences with each other, the young tom already perceived Applehaze to be a nice enough cat. But that wasn't really what he was wary of right now. The apprentice was more so concerned with the training aspect of his apprenticeship. After all, Paleheart had been an extremely nice cat, yet she had been...he hated to think of her in this light, but a slightly lackluster mentor. They had done absolutely no training together in the past three quarters of a moon, and at the end of it all, she had gone and disappeared off to who knows where. With Applehaze, he could only hope for the best--that the warrior wouldn't do the same thing as his previous mentor. As long as his new mentor was capable of getting him through all his remaining training in a decent amount of time, there would be nothing else to worry about. But he pushed these stressful and negative thoughts aside momentarily. He had time to worry about these types of things later. After all, he couldn't know what Applehaze's mentoring skills would be like just by worrying about them. He had to give the warrior a chance and experience it all firsthand before jumping to too many conclusions. If he'd gotten lucky, Applehaze might be a great mentor, and he'd never need to face another reassignment or absence of training again. And so, blinking his vivid green eyes a few times, he gave Applehaze an effervescent smile, waiting for him to say something else.

Runningpaw smirked at his attempt to slide under her, and felt her paws flex with ease. She'd let him, for the sake of her plan. She wasn't sure that the apprentice would see this move coming. Flexing her tabby paws a couple times more for good luck, she tended her muscles to jump. Pushing up to attempt and land all fours on Eaglepaw's back, she hoped to get a firm grip on his pelt so that she would pummel him from above. It may not have been the best idea, as she was bigger- but she was very light due to her scrawny structure.

Once Eaglepaw started heading one way under Runningpaw, he tried to duck out from the side he was originally facing. He saw her jump and tried to move but the apprentice fell on him, pushing the air out of his body.

Littlewish could see the impatience on Eaglepaw's features continue to grow freely, and felt yet another tug on his heartstrings. Another sign of defiance. He could not express his happiness for the now more developed apprentice. Pride shining in his heart, and muscles warm enough from flexing, walking, and overexcitement, he took to the stage. Approaching he center of the hollow, he took a deep bow. Challenge shining in his eyes, he nodded to the newly evolved tom.
"Run at me. Attack as hard as you can- no claws!"

Eaglepaw listened and as soon as Littlewish finished his first sentence, he quickly darted in, aiming to roll under the tom and spring to his paws on the other side of him.

Birchpaw nodded. Just thinking about the attack made her shiver a little. All of a sudden. she began to get angry. "Why did those coyotes have to force me out of my home! They attacked us and inured the majority of our clan!" she yelled, wishing she could kill them right at this very moment.

"Yeah...You Windclan cats are...remarkable." Lilypaw murmured in quiet awe. One of her paws press against the scar across her face with a self-depreciating grimace.

"I hope I can pick up some of that fortitude, just Riverclan's raid on Shadowclan recently still has me a bit at odds." she admitted. Lilypaw turned to Heathernose then with a thankful nod.

"Thank you for the welcome, I look forward to speaking with you again."

Twilightstar expected the quip from Coyotesnarl but paid little mind to it. Drained of the back and forth, she didn't bother retorting and let him go. She noted Rushingmoor speaking up, but that was between the two of them.
Weasleskip was either dropped on her head repeatedly and no one thought to inform the leader of it or was just mad, Twilightstar had no clue as to why the molly seemed happy with being punished, yet again wasn't going to bother understanding it. Yet, maybe she'll speak with Brindlejaw after this and take back his punishment. Yes, he should have kicked Weasleskipe down the second she bounced up on the Breezerock, he knew she should not be up there especially when Twilightstar was holding a clan meeting, but if that was his only fault then Twilightstar felt she was merely being an ass because she was in a bad mood and lashing out for the hell of it.
As Cloudkit stepped up, Twilightstar pushed aside the background noise and gave her attention to the kit. She appeared excited and oblivious of problems around her. It would be nice to be that ignorant again.
"Cloudkit, having reached six moons, it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Cloudpaw[ @Silverclover ]." She seemed like a good cat so Twilightstar hoped that she wouldn't have to demote her any time soon. Spotting a golden she-cat who has thankfully been rather behaved, Twilightstar calls on her.
"Heatherspirit [ @Glory ], it is time for you to train an apprentice. Cloudpaw will be mentored by you." Alright, done with that moving on to reassignments. As she scoured around, she noticed that many of the apprentices in need of mentors weren't even present at the meeting. She was sure they'd show up if she started calling their names, worse come to worse the mentors would be stuck informing the apprentices. She really should just skip the ones that weren't present, however, Twilightstar was too tired to remember to get them a mentor the next meeting so would get it done now.
"Puddlepaw [ @Puddletail ], Snailpaw [ @.Bread. ], Curlpaw [ @FuzzyRatto ], Moonpaw [ @Echobreeze18 ], Reedpaw [ @chaton ],and Cherrypaw [ @kittygirl ]. You've all need new mentors." Where these cats go Twilightstar couldn't say, they probably got lost which was both sad and said a lot about WindClan's navigational skills.
"Applehaze [ @alan ], you'll mentor Puddlepaw, Stormstrike [ @Squirreldash ], you'll mentor Snailpaw, Rushingmoor [ @Beau ], you'll get Curlpaw, Lotuspool [ @Mumble ], you can train Moonpaw, Cloudfluff [ @-Cloud- ] you'll train Reedpaw, and finally Cherrypaw you'll be mentored by Silentwhisper [ @Fuzzy]." It wasn't hard to tell the leader mood was on the negative side. She wanted to get through this meeting as quickly as possible. Twilightstar stopped speaking to take in a breath of air as her tail twitched restlessly behind her.
"We also welcome two new cats into the clan, some of you may remember the she-cat known as Daisybloom from ShadowClan. She requested to join our clan and I allowed it. She'll be known as Lilypaw [ @Spiderfrost ]."
"Snakewillow [ @elysian ] also recently found a young kit who wanted to join us. He will be known as Fuzzykit [ @Fae ] and will be staying in the nursery until he reaches apprentice age. Snakewillow will be checking on him when he has the time." Hmm, the leader's head hurt, it's been a little since she's had a stressed induced headache.
"Silvercinder [ @Rainquail ], I want to work on training Lilypaw in our ways." She hoped the older molly would be able to handle her better then Gentlemoo handled Sunpaw. Then again, Twilightstar probably should have given Sunpaw an older mentor in the first place. Twilightstar has learned from her mistakes.
"Echopaw, step forward."

Her eyes lit up. "Yes yes YES!" She touched noses with Reedpaw, grinning.

Lotuspool cocked her head, "So, I presume you already know the basics of hunting and fighting?" she asked her new apprentice.

"Yeah. A random cat taught me." Moonpaw shrugged.
