Littlewish would let the apprentice win. It was the only way apprentices really learnt these days, after all. A grin on his face, he allowed his paws to stay rooted to the ground, holding his position almost comically. He was quite proud of his quaint little stance, the grin and all. Fluffing his pelt out with pride- or at least the fur he had- he gave a playful growl in Eaglepaw's direction. He was impressed at his speed and the way he performed each move on time, with little to no problem with speed. He was fast, man. Damn. Allowing the tom to roll under his outstretched legs, he turned around to face him, opting to give him at least a little bit of a challenge. He would growl at him, eyes narrowing as he circled the newly apprenticed tom slowly. He allowed his paws to flex in 'menace', muscles tensed for a blow.

Eaglepaw came out on the other side of Littlewish. He waited for a second, timing his move right as his mentor circled him. He quickly darted underneath the tom, hoping to make him think that the apprentice was trying to get to his other side.

Runningpaw had caught him! Huzzah! So perhaps the 'advanced kit-apprentice' could be beaten after all. Snorting, she stepped off of his pelt, a look of triumph in her eyes. She nodded respectfully, a grin large on her face.
"That was pretty impressive! But I think I'll leave the rest to your old mentor, huh? It was nice training with you."
|
Eaglepaw caught his breath and stood up. He nodded respectfully when Runningpaw did."Nice training with you" he told her and looked over at his normal spot at the edge of the clearing.

Re: WindClan Clearing
@RedHead @Arie
The alabaster tabby never really paid attention when patrols were announced. He wasn’t usually called, so he had nearly drowned them out by now. It wasn’t hard, with all of the noise in the clearing. But when his name was called, Thornsprint stood from where he was laying in the sun. With a quick stretch of his legs, he caught that he was to go with his apprentice, Lynxpaw, Quicksilver, and Pumapaw. The tall cat would nod at Brindlejaw and then sit back down, waiting for his patrolmates to show up. He would also consider where to go. If they were one of the first out of camp, they would have their pick of wonderful hunting spots.

Re: WindClan Clearing
[ @ Arie @ Wings @ Rainquail ]
Flashclaw held his head up at the mention of his name. He... he was going on another patrol?! I don’t need more interactions with cats then I’ve already had. He wanted to yell at Brindlejaw, but it seems he had done that enough already. With a few grumbles from where he sat he finished his fresh kill and padded over to Mountainmist. This was going to be an interesting patrol it seemed. With a sigh he finally made it over to the she-cat and barely dipped his head in a greeting to her. “I’m ready.” He mewed, though it came out more like a sigh as he glanced around for the two apprentices whom were yet to show up. I wonder if she’ll leave without them. He thought casually, paws already itching to be out and done with this patrol.

{Ely... I fear for you. Puma is a hell to interact with. Feel free to push her off a cliff}
Pumapaw was excited! Another patrol?! Yes! The cream coloured and exuberant apprentice raced up as soon as her name was called, her long and fluffed up tail standing up behind her. But she didn't see Quicksilver yet? Where was her mentor? Not actually caring - since he'd never taught her to do this before... she bounded up. "Hi Thornspirit! So we're going hunting yes? Hunting?!" But then she realized. " I can't hunt. Can you teach me to hunt? Quickass, ya know, large silver tom, always got a frown on his face and is never happy and likes to trip you into the dirt, ya? that guy. He is my mentor and he never even bothered. So. Can you teach me? I would like to learn how to hunt. Because otherwise this patrol is kinda useless ya know."

"And with the idiots we have in clan, and in charge" He whispered the second bit gazing at the clans own deputy "- fighting seems unavoidable"
|
She peeked at the deputy with him, her eyes narrowing in thought. "So... you think that Brindlejaw is an idiot?" She couldn't imagine insulting a deputy, but maybe she could find out who else he thought was an idiot. She's gone this far. "If you think that, who else is an idiot?" She hoped her name wouldn't come up.

Heatherspirit watched the rabbit closely, then nodded swiftly, not to scare the prey away. She hoped Puddlepaw would be able to flush the rabbit out successfuly.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Heatherspirit shivered in excitement. Twilightstar had chosen her, her of all cats as a mentor! It was like the dream she never knew she had. She hoped she'd be good enough for Cloudpaw, and she padded over to her.
"Hi there!" she said cheerfully in response.

It's not something that happens as you flick a switch, its gradual. Some days you may feel like nothing's changed, the next it might overwhelm you by the fact that you've gotten used to the moors, to the open skies without even realising it." He hadn't until now that she was back, realised the very same impact that Daisy-Lily- had had on him during the short time they'd spent talking about their issues... But it was an impact that had indeed left its effect on him. "Changing how you live your life... It will be hard. But you can do it. If any cat would be capable of changing their entire life upside down... its you." And that was the truth. He'd seen the strength in the calico molly throughout the time she'd spent in Windclan. But they were not here to be all sappy for however much he wanted them to be. It was not... time for it. "Your sister. You'll have to tell her you've got a new name at the gathering now wont you?" he let out a soft laugh at that. He could totally imagine the other sister being extremely confused at this change and even a little mad. She as a fiery one, or so it had seemed from his one encounter with her during the latest gathering. "Being happy is worth the pain of leaving... Because you're not sacrificing yourself for something others would wish for you. You're doing what will help you, and sometimes. Sometimes its alright to be selfish especially in these situations."
|
The molly turned her attention to Breezefeather as he spoke and exhaled quietly. He always seemed to know what to say, and she was grateful for the insight the older tom had.
"She'll understand the name change. Rosedapple is good at reading between the lines, it's like she can read minds. I think she knew even before I did, with the way I spoke about Windclan...that-that it would be good for me."
Lilypaw look out across the camp again, taking it all in.
"I think it'll be good for me too...in more than one way."
(I think it'll be good to stop here with the clearing rp, what do you say?)
