Gullkit nodded some,” I guess that’s allowed.” she meowed fighting her strange instinct to tell her to finish up in the nursery. It confused her why she had that instinct.

Puddlepaw was a little bit surprised as Hivekit curled up against him, but that feeling of slight bewilderment didn't last long. Laying down beside the kit, the young tom curled up against her, cradling the tiny feline within the natural curve of his spine. And then, he listened closely as she spoke, trying to pick up on what she was saying. He couldn't be sure, but he thought he caught something about "good friend" and that was more than enough to let him know he'd done the right thing. All this poor kit needed was a friend to help her through these rough times, and he was determined to be there for her. When she began nestling into his fur, the apprentice felt a strong bout of emotion for her. He wanted to protect her, keep her cozy and warm, shielded from the harsh realities of life. But it seemed it was already too late for that. At such a young age, she'd already been through... so much. The least he could do was help her keep fighting, and hope there would be better days to come. Nuzzling the small kit's head with his cheek, the tom made his best attempt to stop the kit's tears. "There, there. Perhaps it's true that not everything will be alright. But you can at least look forward to the future. Keep in mind that this clan is here to care for you and protect you. It's almost like having... many, many, many mommas. Now, don't take my word for this next part, but... personally, I think you've already hit rock bottom. Things can only get better from here." Now, the tom knew the last part wasn't guaranteed. There were still a whole lot of things that could happen to this poor little one, things which couldn't be predicted at the moment. But, he wanted to make sure that, at least for right now, Hivekit felt safe. And loved. And assured that the clan would do everything in their power to help her live as normal a life as possible. And if they didn't, then at least he would be there for her.

Fallenghost stayed with Redpaw and was careful around her sleeping clanmates. She sniffed the beds and rolled the old beddings into a ball and stretched some of the new moss into a new bed. To the nursery, she put feathers in them.

Redpaw continued to put the fresh moss into new nests for the warriors to sleep on. As he was working he put a few small rolled balls enough for a nest next to his sleeping clanmates so they could easily unroll it when they wake up. As for the old moss, he made them into smaller balls that he carefully rolled into a neat pile next to the nursery for the kits to play with.

She debated what to do with the old moss while watching Redpaw. Genius, she thought when he rolled them for the kits and rolled some of the old moss for the kits as well. She didn't think that the nursery needed too much moss so she used the last ones to waterproof the den.

Redpaw saw Fallenghost waterproofing the den,” Smart idea.” he meowed surprised with Fallenghosts idea. It was really smart frankly.

"Is this your first time going hunting?" Shimmershine ask as she left the camp with the apprentice. As she spoke with Birchpaw she kept sniffing the air and trying to detect prey. So far, all she could smell was the typical plants and other WindClan cats. No prey yet.
The molly hoped that this wasn't Birchpaw's first time hunting, she hated to admit it, but she wasn't the best at teaching things. She wouldn't admit it aloud though. She wanted the younger cat to think she was a respectable warrior.
