Wolftail thought for a moment. "Well... what have you learned so far?" His memory had been failing lately due to lack of sleep. He was even starting to hallucinate. He hoped it wouldn't upset Twistedpaw.

The gray and white molly nodded. "That's good, rabbits are probably the best prey." Shimmershine said. She scented again. Still nothing. She kept trotting forward. "Are you from WindClan?" She questioned. She may as well start a conversation. She could easily halt it whenever she caught scent or sight of prey. "I'm not. I was actually from a thing called the Dusk Syndicate. Have you heard of it?" She glanced at every patch of coarse grass and heather. Nothing stirred them apart from the gentle breeze. Though, if she remembered right, there should be a rabbit warren not too far ahead.
She had usually been able to catch a rabbit there. The only times she had failed was when she was by herself. And that was because she had made a stupid mistake. It was a good thing no cat was there to witness it.

Coldamber softly padded in with Fizzlekit in her jaws, the poor kits' belly was so swollen he looked like a rough jab would make him pop and barely seemed coherent. Her legs were shakey and panic was clear on her face
"Coyotesnarl? Coyotesnarl." The soft steps stopped. "Fizz.... he's been consistently having issues with his bowels. For a while extra grooming to his belly helped but- it stopped helping. And I don't know what to do for him now." She'd lost Brushkit and Wavekit, she refused to lose another.


[ @wren ; for context- he has Manx Syndrome, he no tail and his spine is short, which leads to death in the kitten in almost every case. Fizzlekit wasn't meant to live as long as he did ]

Her response shouldn't have surprised him, and at this point, he felt like it didn't. He just maybe wanted it too so he could have some hope that Pumapaw could be somewhat sane. But no. "And a skilled warrior would be able to smell prey scents, even over the stink of their clanmates." Quicksilver then pointed his paw in the direction of the rabbit scent, giving Pumapaw a pointed look. "Now here's a direct question for you. Can you smell that rabbit trail headed in that direction?"

Pumapaw stared at her mentor and rolled her eyes. "Be more specific.... Not everyone understands your weird ass language." Rabbit scents... She'd only smelled dead rabbits and well...the occasional scent every now and then while out on the patrols she'd been on... So she didn't think her nose was completely useless. So she would prove him wrong! When he pointed a paw at a scent trail she took a few more steps and paused, taking a deep breath and opening her jaws as well as taking a few sniffs at the ground. "Yes. I can smell it. Despite what it seems I am not completely stupid, you're just using bad and different language to express what you could've just so easily told me directly. Oldie," she rolled her eyes at Quicksilver and then began walking down the scent trail keeping her nose to the ground before looking back at Quickass. "You coming or am I hunting rabbits on my own?"

Eyes stared in horror at what he had just done, claws sheathed again as his body began to shake with disbelief. He just killed his friend.... Tat had been with him ever since he left ThunderClan, how could he do something like that?! Tears formed at the edges of his eyes as his body slowly began to collapse. "I'm......not a m-monster.....I'm not a-a monst-ter...." His words were low and filled with hatred along with sadness. He let himself snap again, he hated the monster his father turned him into. Lucky's body lay there in shock as tears began making their way from his eyes down to the ground.

"I think it's all about how you go about using your knowledge. Weaselskip sighed and twitched her tail. This session was not going all too well as she'd thought but well, she hoped that the little pretty flower was at least learning something about Windclan techniques. "Control my body you say? Have you seen these lanky pretty great legs? They are... not controllable unless you're running. Aint gonna go trip over them again, happened too much during my apprenticehood." She nodded at Lilypaw's own legs that were shorter than hers, despite being larger. "You have got an advantage when it comes to fighting. However, when it comes to chasing you're... lacking." She let out a smile at that and twitched her tail once again. "I think its time we establish YOUR groundwork. Such as... a hunting trip." Weaselskip was done with the fighting. Now she well and truly wanted to show off and show this apprentice how to hunt properly. And move properly. Windclan groundwork.

Fallenghost blinked at the medicine cat. She cleared her throat and started whisper rapping, "Torn ear, scratches on my back, and a loose claw."

“I don’t have anything to stop infection.” he stated plainly. He’d been struggling to get around lately and having used up a majority of his herb store and not restocking it was killing him. “I have comfrey root for that wrenched claw and cobwebs. Poppyseeds if you need them but not enough for multiple days. I’ll come find you if it hurts bad enough and you need something for pain” the tom hobbled across his den grabbing the comfrey root and two poppy seeds accompanied by the few strands of cobweb. Hopefully it would keep some dirt out. Coyotesnarl motioned for her to come closer as he set out his supplies.

The medicine cat was startled from his meal by the queen. His ears flicked and gently pinned against the back of his head at the panicked tone of her voice. Great she had brought her kit along. The tom swept away the small pile of shrike that he’d barely indulged in and turned to face her. Bowel issues? The tom felt himself internally cringe at the thought. If he had to massage that monstrosity of a kit to get it to.. go... he wasn’t willing. He just couldn’t.
“How long have you been having these issues with it? When was the last time it ate?” he padded close and gave the small thing a sniff before recoiling like it was crow food. He turned again leaving her in the entrance of the den. Perhaps juniper... though that was for belly aches. Didn’t think it would help it pass anything.

Echoheart blinked the tears away, she shakily stood up and slowly stepped toward him. She hated seeing cats in distress...she almost felt useless...Echoheart closed her eyes and took a deep breath, she plopped down next to him and gentle set her tail over his back. Her eyes were filled with sympathy and kindness as she stared down at his shaking form, she didn't dare look up at the crime seen...she only focused on comforting this...poor tom..she felt like he had no control..

Snakewillow spluttered. "Scrapkit?! Wh-" He was stopped short by more mewing from the kittens. The tabby was full of sadness and heartache. He knew better than to try to argue with Whisperwillow. He would back down, and she would kick him out. So, he simply took a shaky breath in and said, "Fine. S-scrapkit it is. But what about the others? Don’t you want to name them something nice? To, mm, remind them that they can never live up to their name... or whatever?" The things he did to please Whisperwillow. It astounded him. But he wanted at least two out of the three kits to have pleasant names. Even if he couldn’t do anything for Scrapkit now...

Stumbling into camp, out of breath with a rabbit clenched in his jaws and a mouse tail in his mouth, Thornsprint scanner the clearing. It was nearly sundown, and he was almost late. Almost. Dropping his prey off onto the pile, he searched the wide clearing. Ah, there he was. Brindlejaw. Speed walking toward his target, the pale warrior pushed through whoever stood in his way. "Brindlejaw," He started. "My sincerest apologies for my tardiness. I’ve returned from hunting with a rabbit and a mouse." He would pause before saying anything more. As he caught his breath, the stars began to twinkle above him. To some other cat, it might have been seen as lovely or cute. Thornsprint didn’t care, they were just blinky lights in the sky. "Quicksilver and the apprentices haven’t returned. They were slowing down, and I had to keep going. I haven’t seen them since." he wasn’t worried. If anything, he was mildly annoyed. Lynxpaw had let him down.
