Her head was so wrapped up in the amazing fact that now Russetpatch was her mate, Creekwind almost forgot that she had a new apprentice. A new apprentice to mentor so they don't leave the clan as her previous one did. One sapphire blue eye looked around the clearing for Frogpaw hoping to find the molly up and about.

Frogpaw had been padding about the clearing looking for trouble in search of something to do when she spotted Creekwind across the way. Her new mentor. They hadn't had much time to talk yet but she already had the feeling Creekwind wouldn't be as fun as Timbergrowl had been in their brief time as mentor and apprentice. Oh well, she would have to make do.

"Creekwind!" she called out, "What are you up to?"

Iciclepaw didn’t notice Snowpaw’s adverse reaction to her touching them. She must have forgotten that Snowpaw didn’t like to be touched. However, the flowers absolutely had to be shifted. The pale she cat purred and chirped,

“You’re welcome!”

Even as she started grooming her fur, Iciclepaw thought about how she needed to go fetch more flowers. She still had two more crowns to make- one for her and one for Freezepaw. Snowpaw nuzzling into her belly fur budged the she-cat our of her day dream and she giggled. Pausing to pull a leaf off of her tongue, Iciclepaw shifted from grooming her own fur to giving her sibling a few affectionate licks on their forehead before returning to the mess that was Iciclepaw’s flank.

“Eh, being normal is boring!”

Iciclepaw wasn’t one to take things too seriously, so she let her sibling play off their comment. At the mention of their sister, though, Iciclepaw paused to think. A giggle bubbles out of her at Snowpaw’s description of Freezepaw and she nodded her agreement.

“I haven’t seen her- which is strange since none of us exactly blend in!”

Iciclepaw gestured at the bright pile of white fur that her and Snowpaw formed and laughed. To be fair, Freezepaw wasn’t totally white like Iciclepaw and Snowpaw, but she was still pale and- like Snowpaw has said- large.

Snowpaw couldn't help but giggle at their sister's fuss over her pelt. "I swear you'll turn into a shrub at this rate." They shook their head and plucked out a leaf that was stuck behind Iciclepaw's ear, turning away to spit it out.

They appreciated how oblivious and bubbly their sister was – smiling in admiration at her carefree nature. Snowpaw wished they could be a little more like her. "Heh, I guess we don't. ShadowClan isn't exactly known for their small and weak white-pelted felines, like me..." They trailed off, gazing at the bustling clearing ahead of them. "Do you think I'll be a big strong ShadowClanner one day?"

Beastspark looked down at the kit with a stern frown. He was way to nonchalant about this, but the deputy wasn't going to get too snappy. It was still a kit, but Wychkit did have to learn alongside the other kits to not to go wandering. "Regardless of who had the idea, you know that you're not allowed out of camp. You wouldn't have gotten lost if you hadn't left." He scolds but doesn't bother lecturing for long. "You can head back to the nursery, however, if I hear that you've gone out of camp again, expect to be stuck in the nursery for a while longer." He nods his head, allowing the kit to get going.



The deputy swings his head in the direction of his name as Nettlespark pads up. He hasn't seen much of the tom as of late, but he wasn't going to dwell on that since whatever he had to say sounded urgent. "What would that be?" Beastspark asked, concern shining brightly in his green eyes.

"Yes, Beastspark!" Wychkit meows innocently, scurries off the the nursery when the Deputy turns to address Nettlespark. He huffs and pads into the nursery, tired.

There were many things a young cat could do. Such as .. practice hunting, battling, talk to their clanmates-- build relations! Or draw in dirt. Wait, what?

Jaypaw had finally ripped up enough grass from the ground to form a good patch of dirt. The tom unsheathed his claws, a smirk on his face. After... all the things that had been happening lately, Jaypaw finally felt relaxed for once.

He lifted up his paw and struck the dirt-- gently? Then began to draw lines into the dirt with his claws, his smirk softening into something more vuluaranble. Jaypaw would draw simple things, ever so often glancing up to look around. He tried to do the trees but they just looked weird and wrong. He didn't mind, though. It was fun.

Completely unaware if a cat was perhpas planning to sneak up on him? Talk to him? Who knew! Jaypaw didn't. That's who.

Snowpaw had been watching their Clanmates go about their business from the shadows, red eyes beaming in the darkness. It wasn't exactly their favorite past time, and they'd rather be out exploring with Mudfern, but today seemed to be a slow day.

But when they caught sight of a cat...hitting the dirt? Playing with it? What even was he doing? They became intrigued.

They slowly approached the tom from behind, cocking their head around him to see what he was doing. He was making clawmarks? "You know, your claws are made for digging into flesh, not the earth." Snowpaw spoke up, now sitting right beside the tom.

"Unless you're muse in life is to become a mole." They snickered.

Iciclepaw laughed and blew the leaf away from Snowpaw’s paw with a little smile, flicking the ear that it had been stuck to. The thought of becoming a shrub appears to her, though she didn’t want to be just a boring old bush. She’d want to be something with flowers that smelled nice and attracted birds and bees and butterflies!

“I don’t think I wanna be a shrub but I’d like to be a honeysuckle bush! Then I could have a bunch of hummingbird friends and I could buzz with the bees and play with the butterflies.”

Iciclepaw has been zoning out but she caught the unhappy note in Snowpaw’s tone. Bristling her newly groomed fur, she hopped to her paws and exclaimed,

“Of course! You’re already tough and you’re gonna be the best warrior this clan- this forest- has ever seen!”

After her vehement little speech, Iciclepaw crouched down and batted at her sibling, egging them to get up and fight her. She’d show Snowpaw just who strong they were!

"I'm fine," the white apprentice responded automatically as if it was his former mentor speaking. Then he paused as if gauging whether or not that was the right response. Frostpaw didn't want the two mollies to think he was 'being tough' or anything like that. "It barely hurts," he amended. The scratches were more of a nuisance in his perspective than they were injuries, and he knew how to tolerate pain. He'd suffered worse from those who weren't even meant to be his enemies. On a completely different topic, Frostpaw wasn't very keen on getting cobwebs stuffed all over him. They felt odd, sticking onto his skin and fur. He wouldn't object to it - he wasn't a medicine cat and didn't know what was best for him - but the faster his treatment was over, the better.
