Mouseleap padded over to the leader and deputy. She set down her frog in front of her paws and meowed, “Our group caught a very nice haul. The apprentices are growing fast.”she purred and looked at the patrol to give them a chance to say anything they wish to say to the high rankers.

No! A monster! That was what he was! An evil monster! Beechkit was useless as Foxbite ripping into her brother as if he was a mouse. The site was sickening. "NO EATING HIM!" She screeched again as the monster started tarring into Snailkit. Her friend too. No... She whimpered to herself.

Her attempt to fight only got the elders attention on her. His bloody teeth and wild eyes frightening. No. No. No. No. No! She didn't want to die! Tears filled up her eyes as she hit the ground. Her breaths coming out quick. "N-NO!" She called out, shacking. Her whole body was quivering, unable to move as a large paw pressed her to the dirt.
A shriek as teeth gripped her tail, pulling it from her body. Pain. Oh so much pain washed over her. Breaths coming out as gasp. It wasn't even done yet... her shivering, pain filled little body was rolled over. A chunk of her belly, then her chest and chin. Pulled from her, leaving gashes that blood just wanted to run away from her.
So much pain! Everywhere! Beechkit couldn't handle it. It wouldn't go away... it burned, stung and ached. The tiny kit pressed her eyes shut, squeezing them so tight it forced tears to run down her face. She didn't want to see what the monster was doing to her. None of it!
Her ear was ripped in half, shortly after her shoulder bit into. The pain almost unnoticeable with the agony she was already in. Like a drop in the ocean of pain that had taken over her body.

Yells... yowls... cats moving around her. Beechkit didn't move at all. Who was even here for her? The little tabby just shivered in a pile of her own blood. Did Whisperkit or Snailkit live? She didn't know... But she wasn't going to open her eyes to see. No. She wanted it all to go away... She hated pain. She hated the monster that tried to eat her! It needed to die!
A tiny whimper escaped her frail mauled body, the effort just added more pain. So much pain... To much... "M..ma..ma…." Beechkit whimpered again still squeezing her eyes shut.

Pinekit was met with the toms unsettling, icy stare as he turned his huge head towards her. Being only a few moons old, she was a lot smaller than the huge tom was, and his eyes. Pinekit wasn’t sure why she felt so unsettled by them, but she turned her eyes away, the surrounding cats and nursery walls suddenly seeming much more appealing. Her dark tabby pelt was as smooth as the floor was, she realized dimly. A little side note, she supposed, if she ever needed it that day. The apprentices question brought her out of her daze, making her glance back up at him before looking away once more. ”I don’t know... Badgwer wides or mossball are always fun, I fink.” But her words were feeble and without conviction. She wasn’t sure what she really wanted to do. “You have any bewtter ideas? I’m Pinekit.” The young kit was proud of herself for finally mastering her name, though it seemed that she couldn’t master much else yet.

Whitepaw gave a small sigh of relief at not being chosen, but he quickly thought about what heshould do now that he wasn't allowed to go out and train with his mentor. He sat for a minute, kinda just staring at his paws as he thought. Should he go try and help the medicine cat, ask the deputy for some work, or just go relax around?.

The apprentice had actually surprisingly changed a lot of his attiude, especially in camp. He had very easily figured out he was one of the oldest apprentices, so he had decided he needed to be an example.

Whitepaw let out a sigh. If he was to set an example, he would go up to the Deputy or his Mentor for some work to do. He stood up, semi-reluctantly and padded up to the Deputy.

"Mr. Beastspark, sir. May I have some work to do? I want to set a good example for the apprentices.."The young tom struggled to keep his gaze up to the older and more experienced cat. Was he going to waste the Deputy's time? Or would his eagerness be appreciated? The worried thought process could likely be seen in the Apprentice's face as he kept his head up to look at Beastspark.

The silvery she twitched her tail at the thought of the traps. They seemed terrifying and dangerous. She for sure didn't want any cat to die by them. Though, her fears soon came true as an idiot kit named Skykit dashed out of the clearing. And into the territory. She knew first paw the dangers of the forest when she escaped as a kit. With out giving Fawnleap a chance to reply, she dashed out of the clearing, and after the idiot kit.

Oh good, staying quiet worked. Cloudberry watched as Beastspark assigned the cats that would be helping out to patrols. If these flea-brains failed she would have to step in but, for now she was fine staying in camp. "Aye, good luck." She huffed out, tail curling up her relaxed self. If these cats had it under control then she wouldn't have to do anything with Twoleg stuff. She hated those things.

Driftstep was fully onboard with that and the large cat wobbled back and forth as they tried to keep their balance, but while having someone take their weight to one side while already being wobbly and unbalanced while walking didn't exactly help their objective. They were supposed to go frog crushing! Yet it seemed that Fennel was determined to become a frog herself. "Feeeeennnnnnnel, can you croak like a frog?" they questioned, as they then began to actually loose balance with their next step and then crashed completely to the side, squishing Fennelhaze under their 6-7kg of wonderful body. "HA! You squish!" they laughed. This was just too ridiculous. Who went frog crushing with your friend who could barely walk properly? Fennelhaze apparently and it was Driftstep themselves who'd suggested it. Well they never claimed to be particularly smart of mind did they? Had they gone ahead and claimed that before? "I Neveeer said this was saafeeee Feeeneeeell!"

Fennelhaze could hardly believe Driftstep actually agreed with this. They already had trouble walking, yet were completely willing to carry her off to... wherever you found thsoe frogs at? This was wonderful! At least, until Fennelhaze suddenly felt herself plummet to the ground, soon crushed by her heavy friend. "Ack!" The she-cat had more to say, but was quickly cut off by the lack of breath. Luckily, though her small frame makes her more susceptible to being crushed, it also makes it easier to squeeze out of tight spaces. Unsheathing her claws, the ginger-white she-cat gripped the ground, slowly pulling herself out from under Driftstep. "See? I'm fine! This happens at least once a moon!" Fennelhaze laughed, slapping her tail on the ground for emphasis. "Those frogs won't see it coming! I don't think I want to be a frog anymore though, getting crushed once is enough for today." With that said, Fennelgaze prodded Driftstep with a paw, urging them to get back to their paws. There was no time to waste! While she couldn't ride in style, she was still excited. Normally she was the one being crushed, but now she'd get to do some crushing of her own. "Oh Driftsteeeeep!" Fennelhaze cooed, a smirk plastered on her face, "Let's plaaay a game! Whoever crushes the least froooogs... has to... has to... jump into a pond!" There couldn't possibly be any downsides, right? It would just be a fun game where the loser gets soaked!

Dawnstripe did not want to take two apprentices and a warrior who could barely control her apprentice. They'd all just get in her way. Hearing Fleapaw's whines all the way from the back, Dawnstripe cringes. Stalking forwards, the huge she-cat pushes her way through the crowd to stand before her supposed patrol.

"Normally I'd like anyone who gets under the behemoth's skin, but you two really are a lot to handle." Dawnstripe sneered, wondering what her mother had been thinking with this lot. "You two can come with me and Frecklepaw. However, disobey any of my orders, annoy me, or worse upset me and I'll personally stick you in the Jaws myself. ShadowClan doesn't need dead weight like you two weaklings weighing it down." This molly did not pull her punches when it cames to morons making her clan look bad.

"Frecklepaw, let's go." She snapped at the quite apprentice, a little disappointed that Blackpaw wasn't coming with. At least he had some common sense more than these dingbats.

Beastspark felt his hackles rise as Skykit darts out of the entrance. Why can't anyone listen?! Huffy, the deputy starts to go after the kit, though watches as Echopaw darts ahead of him. Irisflame would most likely chew him out if she got caught in a trap. How did Icestar deal with this stuff? Before he could reach the entrance, Whitepaw steps in front of him asking for working.
"Actually, I do have a task for you. Can you go and check on Echopaw and Skykit for me?" He would have done it himself but he was worried about leaving the camp unattended. "They just left, shouldn't have gotten far, I just need to know if I have to go get them or not?"

Iciclepaw smiled when she was called to join. This was great! She would be able to find plenty of new flowers and help the clan at the same time! Plus, this must mean that Beastspark believed in her a little bit! It was nice to be believed in. Iciclepaw saw Magpiepaw moving and followed him to who she assumed was Nettlespark and another cat she didn’t know. The shy molly didn’t speak, letting Magpiepaw do the talking, and merely smiled kindly at all of the other cats.
