Willowkit took a small step towards her, only to sit down again and scrunch up her nose. "Is it safe?" She knew other kits had come and gone, as does her father and mother, but she was still curious as to all the other cats and noises she didn't know.

Midnightstalker raised an unseen eyebrow at her daughter's want of a gopher. The she-cat knew she wouldn't eat a gopher, she liked to complain about how tough the meat was. Plus, the baby had no idea what she was even talking about. The warrior doesn't comment and merely watches how eager it seemed the baby was to help make sure that Twilightstar wasn't lonely. Midnightstalker doubted, being so young, that he really understood the type of lonely he was referring too. He was just talking about what he sees on the surface. As the young cat leaves to fetch some prey, Midnightstalker turns back to talk to her little light.

"A little annoying, but a keeper." She purrs, she shifts around to lay down behind the leader, curling her slightly larger frame around the lilac she-cat. "It that time of year, kit, I've gotta take my leave might be for a few days or few moons. Can't say." Midnightstalker liked to roam and be away from the clan during the anniversary of her first kit. It was a selfish desire of hers, she knew, but she always came back and always had her mind on her clan. She wasn't abandoning them if she always came back.

"Keep the kit around as much as possible, he better be your apprentice by the time I get back, it'll be good for the both of you." she adds, tail lashing menacingly behind her. "I won't be around Bucky will at least remind you to eat and drink regularly." Midnightstalker never had to worry about her Little Light working herself to death until she becomes something Midnightstalker wasn't sure she even wanted to be. The she-cat's head snaps in the direction of the entrance as she saw the little guy bringing in a rabbit? Was he even half the size of that thing?

"Good job," Midnightstalker keened happily, getting up to go and fetch the rabbit from where he had lost hold of it. The eldest cat carries it back over to her daughter's nest. "Find Honeypaw a new mentor while you're at it." she tosses to the leader, stretching while settling her pale green eyes on the kit. "Hey, Baby Bucky, I've gotta go away for a while, so your in charge of taking care of my Little Light and making sure she's not lonely. Make sure she takes breaks here and there too." Midnightstalker was aware that everyone merely assumed that Twilightstar was always sleep in this den, but the black warrior knew that the she-cat's mind was always working, analyzing, questioning. It was hard to relax when your mind never stop working. "Think you can take care of her while I'm away, maybe find her some more friends so she ain't lonely neither."

Cornkit quickly shook the beetle off his head, he had no idea where that bug had been or if it were poisonous, or would hurt him, or carried diseases. He was about to inform Stagkit about boundaries when he saw him putting the bugs in his mouth. "STAGKIT! STOP!" Cornkit surprised himself with how loud he could be. The skinny kit hadn't realized how loud his voice could actually be. A part of him was a little proud. Then he seemed to realize how dire the situation was. His friend was in mortal danger! The corner of Cornkit's mouth tugged upwards. He slowly approached the kit with a mouthful of grubs and larva. "Bugs are kinda cool aren't they?" He pointed to a colony of ants that were breaking apart a leaf to bring back to their home. "See the ants? They hunt leafs and nuts and dead rodents just like us and bring it back to their clans in those little tiny sandy holes." The kit sat proudly relaying the information to Stagkit. Cornkit had spent so much time alone he'd started to learn about the things around him. If the kits weren't going to play fight with him... he'd put his brain power into learning other things. It just wasn't as useful as fighting or hunting prey.

Stagkit was happily munching on his beetle when Cornkit screeched at him, and the white and russet tom opened his mouth and the half chewed beetle was just hanging there. "Beetles are good! Tasty!" he told Cornkit as he then swallowed it. It was... funny tasting. He enjoyed eating them. And then Corn was shoving more beetles his way! More! Looking at Corn though, Stag decided... to have a bit of fun and took up a grub before placing it once again on Cornkit's head. "Cornkit got a beetle crown! Cornkit... is the best cat!" He truly believed his words. Was... Cornkit Stag's friend? Yes yes he was! So while continuing to stuff beetles in his own mouth and crunching them down. But now they were watching ants! Ants... Could Stag eat ants? But they were sooo tiny. And itchy. Stag remember ants were itchy. So he just sat down and leaned against Cornkit as the older kit told him about ants... "So ants like... Stag and Corn? They live in clan... like Stag and Corn yes?" He wanted to know more and Corn seemed to know so much! "Corn is smart.. like Twiglight!" he insisted with a happy smile at the grey ants and the grey ground.

SoftFeather gave a warm smile, "If it weren't safe I would have you both wrapped up close to me. 'Cause I would never let anyone hurt you. Even when you're warriors. There is nothing to be afraid of in the camp." SoftFeather stood up, "Would you like to come with me?" she asked her two kits. @Bravekit @AmberShadow

Twistedpaw nodded. "And... if you don't mind telling me... do you remember any certain, um, tricks or things that you did to... get around it?" she asked with a glance at her own crazy tail. She had had little interaction with the elders, making her nervous that she might accidentally offend one of them

Nervously, she padded over to the apprentice. "Uh... h-hello there," she mewed quietly, forcing herself from hiding her deformed face. Even so, she had a crazy tail that wouldn't escape her notice. Tensing her jaw, she forced her voice to sound a bit less distorted.

Cedarpaw glanced up from her food, taking a bit of a double take at the appearance of the apprentice that had approached her, "Oh, um, hi?" she mewed a bit awkwardly, which wasn't really in character for her. What was that apprentices name again? Oh, right, "twistedpaw, do you want to share some fresh kill with me...?" she hesitantly asked. It's not like she was uncomfortable because of the way Twistedpaw looked, though that was still a bit unnerving in her eyes, it was just that she didn't expect anyone to approach her.

Quilkit padded quietly up to Cedarpaw. "H-Hi..." he mewed, his head low. The creamish-blue tom was trying to make friends with some clan mates, but didn't know how. "I'm Quilkit."

Cedarpaw turned to the kit, "Hello, quillkit. I'm cedarpaw" she mewed with a small smile. She found his actions quite cute, in a way. Though she wasn't one to gush about how cute something or someone is, she could still appreciate a cute kit, for example.

Brindlejaw was off his rocker, sending a patrol of two apprentices and one warrior. Not that she was complaining but that seemed slightly unorthodox. Though who was more capable than the great Wolfbound to take up the task? Maybe he wasn’t all that crazy. The molly trudged up the hill still soaked wet with rainfall from the other day, it was quite muddy and unpleasant but she could works with it, as long as dumb and dumber could keep up behind her.

“How you two holding up back there?” she tossed a glance over her shoulder at the pair of apprentices briefly. She didn’t care much for them actually keeping close, they were both capable of taking care of themselves to a certain degree. She just didn’t want another Shrewpaw incident to go down. You never know who’s lurking around these parts of windclan.

As she breeched the top of the hill hooking her claws into the peaty soil she took a deep breath of satisfaction, however at the same time a particular scent drifted by. Rabbit. The warriors tail shot up in the air and she stood perfectly still on the crown of the hill scanning rapidly for the rodent. “Come here quickly-“ she suddenly snapped lowering her tail “flank each side of me. I’m pretty sure there’s a rabbit up ahead”

Without waiting for a yes or no she just expected the two to follow her orders. Wolfbound strutted forward perfectly aware of her surroundings- for the most part. Though unbeknownst to the rest of them the small patrol was headed straight for Oaksting.

Twistedpaw glanced up at her tail sadly. How could she tell the elder that it wouldn't work for her tail? Why had she even asked? His was much worse. With a deep breath, she tried to move it, but only various areas - especially the misplaced tail-tip - twitched a bit weirdly. Looking back at Jaggedstone, she meowed, "Er... how about... running? Did your tail ever throw you off then?"

Twistedpaw gave a quick nod, tensing her jaw so that it wouldn't swing. It was... awkward, seeing the apprentice's hesitance, although she did understand it. Settling down, a bit away so that her tail didn't poke the apprentice, she glanced at the fresh-kill. With a quick glance at the apprentice, she took a small, crooked bite out of the piece of prey. It was a bit messy, with slobber and drool hanging from her jaws and a bit out of the side from her crooked mouth. Looking away awkwardly, Twistedpaw chewed, trying to use the techniques that she had learned to keep as much food in her mouth as possible. Swallowing it, she looked at the small amount that had fallen out and lapped it up. No wonder why I'm so skinny.
