Re: WindClan Training Moor
Rosepaw spotted the other apprentice and scowled slightly. Her current mentor, Crescentmoon, wasn't here, so she was waiting for Twilightstar to re-assign her. Muttering, though, she wondered if she could train with Moonpaw and her mentor. She didn't like how pretty the apprentice was; after all, Rosepaw was supposed to be the prettiest cat in the Clan, not her. Trotting over to the apprentice, she meowed in her honeyed voice, "Hello there, Moonpaw. You might know me as Rosepaw. Where's your mentor at?" She looked around for the she-cat's mentor but didn't see anybody. "Well, nevermind. Could I train with you?" As much as she didn't like the question, Rosepaw had to become a warrior somehow.

"I may be old, but I am not the elder here, young one. No need to be that respectful." He wasn't even that old and let out a puff of amusement again. He was so nervous, worse than the silver tom himself had been when he'd just returned from the clan. At least back then... times ago.. he'd had Roansplash and Buttercupbreeze to help him through his issues, this youngster did not seem to have anyone around to at least support him in anyway. So instead of nudging the bird towards the other cat, Breezefeather pulled the flighty tom in beside him and pulled him into a hug. Hugs were comforting but it also made you aware of how the other cat was feeling, based on the shakiness, if they drew strength from the comfort of it they resented it. "You're going to be fine. Now eat the bird. I am sure, it'll help you." He hoped the other cat didn't feel like he was talking down to them, but after dealing with Cornkit's shyness this was just... something he knew worked around more nervous cats. Instead of yelling at them that was for sure.

The hug was certainly surprising! What happened whilst he was away, to make everyone so... touchy? First the Shadowclan angel with his welcoming words and heavenly fur, to this stranger. The nameless tom certainly gave off... a dad vibe. Puffinhop didn't pull away, he was tired and didn't fancy a fight with anyone over it. "T-Thank you for bringing me t-th-the bird but uh, I don't know. I should be helping the clan, not hiding away..." He breathed the heavy words out as he started to pluck the bird, pushing some of the softer feathers into the elders den for his nest later.

Puffinhop squeaked as he almost jumped out his freckle pelt, bright blue eyes suddenly wide as it took him a moment to process the words. Why were there so many old men after him lately? "Um, no, maybe. I don't know," Puffinhop laughed nervously, chewing his lip, "T-th-that's a big question, you know."

Re: WindClan Training Moor
Skunkblaze padded past the training moor, on her way back to camp. She heard a few apprentices talking, and stopped. Are you waiting for your mentors? she asked. (Skunkblaze will train with Rosepaw and Moonpaw if you want) @ Hazel Nut @ TheNyanCatMinecart

Re: WindClan Training Moor
(Okay, that's nice.)
Rosepaw turned toward Skunkblaze. At first, she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to train with somebody named after an animal that was known for its bad smell. However, she didn't complain. She had to train and gain experience to be a great WindClan warrior, no?
"My mentor, Crescentmoon, isn't exactly my mentor," she explained in her smooth voice. "She's expecting, and Twilightstar needs to re-assign me. However, I'd still like to get some training in." She glanced at Moonpaw, waiting for the apprentice to say something.

Re: WindClan Training Moor
If you want, we could do some battle training. Skunkblaze mewed, excited. She hadn't had an apprentice yet, but that didn't mean she couldn't help train any of them. @ Hazel Nut @ TheNyanCatMinecart

Re: WindClan Training Moor
Rosepaw nodded. "Of course!" she purred, extending her almost too-white claws. "I'd love to learn how to fight so those other Clans deserve their place - and also so that I can fight well enough so that I'll never have a scar!"

Re: WindClan Training Moor
Skunkblaze thought Rosepaw had her priorities slightly wrong, but it wasn't her place to judge the apprentice. What do you know about fighting? she asked. She knew apprentices got insulted if you made them do basics for to long. @TheNyanCatMincart @ Hazel Nut
