Quiverpaw blinked at Heathernose with large amber eyes as she soothed the apprentice's worry with some calming and rational words. Heathernose was being friendly, so maybe she didn't have anything to worry about in the first place. Finally, she relaxed a bit more, trying to push any last bit of her worries away in order to focus on the task at paw. "Yeah, that sounds good to me."

Heathernose offered another encouraging smile and then swiped at Quiverpaw. It would be interesting to see what maneuver she employed this time. The tortoiseshell hoped she’d put her apprentice at ease with her words- she didn’t want to be a dictatorial kind of mentor.

A high-pitched yowl echoed through the clearing. "Cloudfluff! Reedpaw called. It was quite a nice day today! He couldn't let that go to waste, he wanted to do some training. Eventually finding his mentor among the many other cats around, he nearly ended up crashing into her, instead stumbling onto the ground from going too fast. "Can you teach me how to run fast? I saw you do it and it looked so fun!" He meowed excitedly as he got back to his paws. "Pleaseeeee? I'll even try to sit still if you need me to!" At the mention of that, Reedpaw quickly sat down, keeping an overexaggerated proper posture. He felt his paw twitch, already wanting to get up again. But he had to prove a point! Looking at Cloudfluff with a smile, he eagerly awaited her answer.

Cloudfluff laughed, a bit startled. God, I love Reedpaw. She thought, nodding. "You can get up. let's go out to the moor after we stretch for a second. You don't want to get too many cramps, they hurt." She mewed, and stretched out her legs and back. She waited for him to stretch, excited to teach him.

This time, Quiverpaw was more prepared. Not really knowing exactly how to counter it, she just let her body move on its own. Settling her weight further backward on her haunches, she attempted to redirect Heathernose's swipe with one paw and counterattack with a swipe of her other paw. She was a bit unbalanced, but besides being a bit wobbly, it was executed pretty well.

Why was this apprentice trying to correct her speech? Deadpool didn't get it. No one else had a problem with the way she talked... or so she didn't think.
"Talk fine, do me." Her ears flattened against her head wondered if she could avoid Gullpaw. She made her rather nervous and very uncomfortable, like whatever she was saying was bad.
"No change. Different no bad. Talk like everyone no me not." There was nothing wrong with the way she talked!

[Moving all of these out of Breezerock and to the Clearing]

Twilightstar led the way over to the pile at Echoheart's invite. She had eaten a little earlier but wouldn't mind eating a little something else. She shuffles around in the pile, finding a baby rabbit pulled it out, she walked over to the side of the clearing and set it down between her forepaws as she sat down.
"Here, you can share with me." Twilightstar told the warrior as she dips her head and takes a bit out of the prey before pushing over Echoheart.

What in the world was going on here? There were strange cats in her camp and they had a dead kit with them. They were just sleeping there...yeah, this wouldn't do. Alarmed and concerned, Twilightstar gives a challenging yowl, puffing up her fur and unsheathing her claws as she confronts the pair.
"Who the hell are you what do you think you are doing in my camp with a dead kit!" Twilightstar was very close to simply attacking the pair, but fighting a half-awake opponent with a kit would be low even for her.

Twilightstar wasn't going to try and understand what had been going through Braveheart's head, why the hell would Twilightstar picked Sunsetstrike as her deputy. She already had one and she hadn't done anything, in particular, to make the leader notice her.
"Your kin aren't the brightest pair of cats, hopefully, they have fun living as rogues and loners," Twilightstar said with little remorse.
"You really should have spoken up earlier, Braveheart is a serious threat, not nodded along when he made that phony excuse." She scolded lightly. "You look like you could use some rest, head to the elder's den, let me know if you need anything." She said, dismissively. Her pity for the former warrior could only extend so far.

Twilighstar gave another warning growling and hissing at the delusional kit. "You are crazier than a fox in a fit, you are not from my clan." Her tail lashed in large sharp waves behind her.
"I do see one of the clan's kits dead and two outsiders huddled around the body. You," she pointed a clawed paw at the crazy kit. "do not smell like any clan I know."

@~Fox~ - Try and remember to mention( just put the @ in front of the username) when posting, otherwise I might not respond or see the post. You also keep changing the kit's name, it was Firekit in the territory, and now it Quillkit(unless you adopted the kit without informing me, you don't own the current Quillkit in the clan). Twi's going to treat the kit like an outsider for this interaction.+
