"dddddaaaaAADDDD!" The shrill cry echoed through the reeds as Curlpaw rushed into camp, the crabs flailing from his jaws as he skidded to a halt in front of the golden leader. He dropped the crushed crabs at his paws, sporting a wide toothy grin all the while. "Dad, I caught TWO crabs all on my own! Nightclaw didn't show so I learned by myself! See, the trick is to let it pinch you and then you get mad because it HURTS and so you throw it at the ground and then ya stomp on it. as hard as you can."

Still fuming from his interaction in the medicine cat den, and now equipped with this stupid plant, Lionstar stalked into the clearing.

"Oakflame [ @alan]! Spiderpaw [ @hope]! Wormbite [ @x ghostie!] Koistream [ @Scum]! Scaleflash [ @Corruptx]! Flyfur [ @Rainquail!] I need all of you to come over here, please!"

Of course, Lionstar would only give them a brief moment to arrive before he loudly continued. "It has come to my attention our herb storage needs some Starsdamned help, so I'm sending you six out on patrols to find anything that looks useful and bring it back."

He prodded the spiky horsetail stalk Fawnsqueak had given him. "If you see this, Fawnsqueak wants this collected. It's uh, horsethorn, or something. Cobwebs and marigold-- those yellow flower cluster things-- are also things he wants you to be on the lookout for. But not mushrooms, ignore those. I don't know why Fawn is hating on them but I'm guessing it's for a good reason!

"Oakflame, you can take Spiderpaw and look around Sedgewater Valley for anything that can be useful.

"Wormbite, take Koistream and look in the fields around Cattail Pond.

"And Scaleflash, grab Flyfur and look from where our main tunnel entrance is, down toward the beach.

"None of you have to stay in this area if you're not finding much, these are just areas to start off in to avoid overlap-- but I do want you to look until you can bring a few things back. If your partner isn't helping out, grab what you can and head back. I'll deal with them." With the cats he picked, he wasn't too concerned with slacking off but he did that in case something unexpected happened.

He wasn't in a great mood.. so hopefully this would go smoothly. "Dump your herbs off with Fawnsqueak when you return, and then you can give me a brief 'we did it' report. Unless you have any questions, you're dismissed."

Lionstar wasn't in his den.

He was actually lingering around the camp entrance, debating what he should do today-- when Snowstripe's appearance caught him by surprise and he jumped.

"What do you think you're doing?" he hissed sharply, irked by her sudden entrance. "Where have you been Snowstripe?"

Snowstripe backed away from Lionstar. She sighed as she know very well she would be questioned on where she went. She stood tall and confronted her leader. "I was captured by a couple of twolegs." She responded to his question.

"Fair enough." Lionstar quirked his eyebrow at her, relaxing just slightly. "In your absence, Stormpaw has also vanished, so I wouldn't go looking for her." They had vanished pretty close together.. but Lionstar didn't want to linger on the thought. "Perhaps you can make up your absence by taking Russetsrike out on a hunt?"

This was her opportunity to improve her relationship with Russetstrike. Lionstar hoped she'd take it.

Whitekit came out of the nursery and sat down beside the entry bored.

"Alright Lionstar." The she cat padded off to find Russetstrike. She felt bad since she was supposed to help Russetstrike learn how to swim the last time. @Wings

Koistream threw himself out of the warriors den when he heard his name called. Patrol, patrol, patrol! For... herbs. To say he was upset was a freaking understatement.
"Really! You want me to get PLANTS!" he huffed out, little pink nose flares in annoyance. "Just because I ain't got a freaking god damn LEG don't mean I ain't got the ability to hunt!" He snapped at Lionstar as he hopped past him, going to plant himself next to the camp entry way. He grumbled all the way there. "Nothing wrong with mushrooms anyways..."

"WORMBITE!" he howled out, hoping to grab the young warriors attention. Koistream pondered... did the tom still want to be a bird?
