There seems to be a flicker of sadness in Jaran's eyes when he leaves. He sighs softly and facepalms. He composes himself and goes back to his duties.

Alex sat in the freezer, she had closed the door and by this time was already asleep due to the cold and the fact she was weak from not eating breakfast herself.

Jaran notices the door is closed and he opens it, "What the hell are you--" He stops when he sees Alex asleep and he sighs. He picks up Alex and walks her back to her cell.
