Silvershade's eyes were practically twinkling. "Oh starclan, you are completely RIGHT!" They squeaked out excitedly. Sparkblaze was just such a blessing. Flowers were of course, beautiful but too much of them could make things look boring. So, why not add pebbles? It was a brilliant idea, really.

Sparkblaze was suprised by Silvershade's reaction. She didn't think her ideas were right, but if some cat thought they were, maybe...they are? The green eyed feline thought the little squeak from Silvershade was cute, and smiled softly. "Okay, that seems like a good plan." Sparkblaze said, then began to gather some more acorns. She was pleased that her idea had seemed to be a good one. She let out a quick purr, then heard Silvershade's last sentence. "What did squirrels ever do to you?" She asked, genuinely curious. Sparkblaze felt very happy, she had been a bit stressed lately, being with the other cat had lifted off a lot of it.

Nighttuft flinched again. I think I know where that is.. She thought. "I'm not sure if there's time... Just wait there, the spot should be close by." The warrior rushed out of the cave towards where she thought the hole would be. Yes, there it is! "Dawnpaw!" She started digging by the hole too, trying to get her apprentice out.

With three shakey paws, he grunted a reply to Wormbite, and began to skip out of the camp. He just wanted to get this over and done with.

Koistreams disappointment was immeasurable..

Wormbite raised a brow, tilting his head at Koistream's strange reaction. Perhaps the tom wasn't a morning cat. That was fine, he could respect that.

Wormbite trailed after Koistream, blinking his eyes tiredly as the two walked. Glancing around for any yellow blurs hidden away, he would stop every so often to paw at what seemed to be what the right herb. Then it would be a stupid dandelion. Wormbite let out a huff.

Turning his gaze to Koistream, who seemed still be in a rigid mood.. Wormbite squinted his eyes at the warrior, "Are you.. alright?" He questioned. "Or does it happen mornings bother you that much?"

''It's a funky lil baby!" Silvershade mewed, "I think something's wrong with the poor thing.. though,, " They pointed out, taking a step closer to the squawking animal. The warrior was pretty sure it was a bird. And if so, they were pretty sure birds should have feathers.

They bend down, giving it a sniff. It didn't smell sickly. The creature gave Silvershade a rightful peck on their nose. "OHSHOOT!" Silvershade squealed, jumping back.

silvershade couldn't help but let out a soft giggle at sparkblaze's surprised expression, leaning forward to give the molly an playful nudge. not a nudge that could possibly be lethal, of course. ''then let's get this plan set in motion!" they mrrowed, giving a nod.

casting a wary glance to the ground, silvershade heaved their self up onto another branch. they couldn't hunt for acorns in the same spot, after all. plus, silvershade was so experienced in climbing. yep, yep. frostpaw would be so damn proud-- perfectly got this. they would paw at a bundle of acorns that were hanging from a branch, trying to knock one down. "cmon.. cmoonnnn, " silvershade gave the stack a small tug with their teeth but dang! it was stubborn!

the warrior paused for a moment, looking down at sparkblaze. it seemed like a fire was enlighten in their eyes. "sparkblaze, in all means i am a pacifist. i only hunt when needed and only harm when it comes to defense. " silvershade started off, heaving a large sigh. "but let me tell you one thing, squrriels are violent beasts. do you know hOW MANY TIMES I'VE GOT AN ACORN THROWN AT MY HEAD?"

Koistream was tired, that was true, but he was always indifferent to mornings or evenings. He had bigger issues, more prominent ones that made themselves known with each hop step he took.

"I'm just freaking.... annoyed! Everyone walks on eggshells around me-- like- like I can't do crap for myself anymore!" He snapped, finding a small patch of horsetails.

He assumed Wormbite had the flower situation under control. He seemed to just... have everything under control. Why couldn't Koistream be like that? Be so... calm. It angered him, deeply, but he couldn't pin point why. Everything seemed to make him more than irritable those past few days.

He pulled up two stems of it, spitting the long spikes plants out of his mouth and onto the pile.."I just..." He hesitated, "I wanted to be trusted to do warrior stuff, not stupid flower collecting! Freaking plants, stupid stupid green things..." He swore under his breathe, all this angry energy just... deflated. His remaining limbs felt awful, heavy with grief.

Dawnpaw continued digging, feeling a fairly large rock land on her tail. She let out a squeak of pain, quickly turning to push it off, her tail throbbing as she continued to dig. Soon the hole became just big enough and she slithered out, only to look back in the hole and see it caved in “that was close..”

Firehawk waved his tail as he headed toward the river. "Bury the bird, we can grab it on the way back!"

Once at the river, Firehawk plopped down beside the bank-- mindful to make sure his shadow wasn't over the water. "Did she teach you how to fish in the pond or the river?"

Sootflare followed along silently, for the most part, keeping his head on a swivel for anything out of the ordinary, but his ears perked up at Lionstar's musings. It took a moment to click but when it did he quickened his pace to match the leader's. "Mad at you? Why would Fawn be mad at you?" He paused, "For the medicine cat thing?"

However, as Lionstar brought up the stick, he quickly backed off. Right. They had a job to do. "Nevermind. Not my place to pry." He moved away - eager to put some distance between the two of them - and began to search the area methodically.

"Oh, don't get me STARTED about the stupid medicine cat thing!! Who does he think he is?" Lionstar lashed his tail, stomping around the ground as he searched for the even stupider stick. "Other than cute.. and stupid intelligent.. ugh."

The more he thought about it the more his feathers were ruffled.

Fortunately, it didn't take long to find the stick-- it was sticking out of the bank near the river, hardly above the water. "Purrfect! If we dig a touch beneath this, it should eventually cut into the pre existing tunnel.. though it might be hard to get out of that if we start at the bank itself."

Flyfur was glad that Dogpaw, Gingerpaw, Finchpaw, Blizzardpaw, and Greenpaw decided to help her since her patrol partner decided to ditch her, it seemed. "Thank you for coming and helping. Alright, we'll be gathering marigold and..... Hawthorn? Horsethorn? I don't know the name, might need to ask once we get back to Fawn."
She turned back to the apprentices. "Marigold is usually yellow, can sometimes have orange and look like...... a cloud made of ruffles. The other one is, eh. Really spiky. Once we get a few of those, we'll head to the tunnels for cobwebs. Everyone ready?"

(Don't plan to take long with this, list the amount of each you find, but I don't think they'd find more than 4 of each per character)

She nodded and ran off, looking for those plants. She found one little marigold flower. "Is this right?" She called, picking it up.
