Lightningkit felt the movement in her nest, her long curly whiskers giving a quiver of excitement. She shifted over, laying her self across Marigold with a small giggle. "Well even if those nasty Windclan cats turn up to eat us, I can trust you to save me!" She chirped, but her large ears were quick to flatten. "...One of the kittens who got eaten dont have a foot anymore..." She whispered.

Foggypaw looked at her brother suspiciously about why he was asking her to do one move so many times but complied to Blackpaw's orders. She got her starting position and slid under his belly.

Blackpaw jumped off of her, tucked and rolled, landing back on his paws and batted at Foggypaw’s head as she slid.

Foggypaw was right to be suspicious of Blackpaw but she didn’t expect that he was move. Oh sly brother,she thought as she panicked about what to do next. Still lying on the floor from trying to mock claw his underbelly, her paw instinctively reached back and aimed at his neck.

Foggypaw flipped onto her belly and looked at her brother. “Oopsie, I forgot that it was practice not an actual fight. Good thing I didn’t unsheathe my claws.” Foggypaw meowed with guilt.

Her fighting skills were increasing daily as she practiced more and more plus sharpening her claws on rocks. Though one time, she was a bit sleepy so she ended up sharpening it wrong and it took about a quarter moon to grow it back so she could resharpen it.

As Blackpaw ruffled her fur, she slowly felt the static make her look like she had a porcupine ontop of her head. Foggypaw stuck out her tongue playfully in payback of messing up her head that she spent time grooming during the morning.

“So, what do we do next?” Foggypaw meowed to see if there will be anymore excitement for the day.

Sagewhisker padded into the apprentices den, scenting out her apprentice ashpaw. She hummed quietly to herself as she approached him, "Ashpaw, do you want to battle train?" she asked with a grin, knowing it was his favorite. Oh, how fun this was going to be! She chuckled to herself. She was so going to pound his ass into the dust.
