duskblossom smiled back. "halfway through the day.... hrmmm, that rhymess! cool!!" she commented softly, giving them both a nod. "alrightyy! byebye! i'll see you guys soonnnn!!! you be careful too! and fleapaw, don't go off too far!! ew, i sound overprotective. well, i mean... don't get lost! have a fun time!! okay okay i'll go, i'll go, bye friendies!" she responded, going over to an area.. somewhat next to fleapaw's, but far enough so that they would hopefully not run into each other. she began doing her own little thing, watching the time closely....

Stormheart purred at Sagewhisker “look at that, two kills for two warriors and enough to feed at least 6 warriors, Queens, or elders, and definitely at least 8-12 kits.” He smiled proudly and put his catch down “should we continue or do you wish to come back to camp with me and possibly share one of those delicious looking mice?” He smiled cheerfully, his tail swishing like a proud apprentice.

Sagewhisker rolled her eyes, flirty much?' she thought, "Sorry, but I was going to share some prey with my mate" she snorted, then picked up the two mice in her jaws and started to pad back to camp. "plus, aren't elders and kits supposed to eat before warriors? I thought you would know better" she shot over her shoulder as she padded away. Something about that tom just...rubbed her fur the wrong way.

With the pigeon still fighting her, Foggypaw gave her brother an ‘oh’ before proceeding to deliver a neck bite. Her first attempt missed and instead bit the pigeon’s wing which made a crunch causing the bird to yell at her face. Doing it again, she finally got the neck and heard a crackling sound as the bird went still making her wonder if it was truly dead. Foggypaw lifted off 1 paw to see if it was alive by poking it constantly in the eye. Seeing that it was still lying like that, Foggypaw believed that it was truly dead.

“Does this look dead enough for a pigeon?” Foggypaw meowed as she tried tickling the bird.

“Yes it’s dead.” Blackpaw knew the truth, that the pigeon was only paralyzed but was still alive until it was suffocated by its lungs not working or blood pooling it it throat. “Do you want to keep huntin or bring it back to camp?” He felt bad for the pigeon, it could see everything happening to it but was powerless to stop any of it.

Blackpaw smiled before tasting the air, thrush. He quickly dropped into a hunters crouch and stalked up to his prey. He pounced, caught it, and delivered the killing bite. He said his prayers before standing and facing Foggy.

The Tom chuckled a bit at Sagewhisker “I’m aware of the rules, but I also know that the queens and kits have been fed and that only three out of the four catches will be enough to feed the elders. I was just enjoying the conversation with you.” He padded past the she-cat, carrying his catch firmly in his jaws as he made his way back to the camp.

Sagewhisker scoffed at him, "you know, you shouldn't just assume things. What if they're hungry? What would happen if we didn't make sure first, hmm?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him. She knew she might be a bit harsh right now, but she honesty didn't care at all.

“I didn’t imply I wouldn’t check first, I always check before I take my share. I made sure the queens and kits were fed before I went to ask you to hunt, and there was already still fresh kill on the pile. Forgive me for trying to get to know my clan mate.” He trotted ahead of the molly, wanting to make his deposit to the fresh kill pile and head out again. Alone this time, he thought, he didn’t know why he tried to talk with the other warriors, kits and apprentices were the future of the clan.
