We have a brother? [Finder]

After speaking with @Sparkling Flower, I have decided to open applications for a brother to Duskstar and Linnetwing.

These two are, obviously, sisters, and believe that they are the only two left in their family. Their parents are unknown NPCs and they do not know of any siblings. At least, until now.

There are not many requirements, though there are still some.

- Must be either a full or half brother. No step brothers.
- Any faction other than ThunderClan. They are to join ThunderClan at some point in the future.
- Does not have to look similar to Duskstar or Linnetwing, but you may choose a similar appearance if you wish.
- You must be willing to remain active with this character.
- If full sibling, they must be 39 moons.

The final choice will be discussed between Sparkling Flower and I. Be sure to mention both of us in your application!

Dapple (Alternate looks) is at his core a lonely cat. His first memory is of the place where most abandoned kittens end up (a wet and cold box all alone) with no memory of how he ended up there. The first group he ran with ended poorly as when he discovered he was a he (FTM) as they did not react as well as he thought they would, and after that trust came increasingly difficult.

This trend continued through his life with hope rising and being dashed for Dapple, who continued to try to find a home that would actually last. This led to a jaded and angry individual who at this point honestly believes he's cursed to be alone and bitter. (Hell even his own kittens didn't stay but thats a sad story he wont talk about for a long time) He is sharp abrasive and pessimistic but will support others finding homes he feels he cannot have. After trying most everything out in his life he's got a wide range of knowledge and knows how to do most things well enough, from hunting to fighting and even a bit of medicine and swimming. He helps cats when he can but lord knows they will have to deal with his snarking while he does.

Despite all this as soon as he's offered any openness he cannot help but try to make things work. The knowledge that he has a family will really kick this into high gear and while he'll be bitter to his parents and why he was abandoned while they had a happy home he'll never let that reflect on his siblings, who he'll rapidly grow protective off.

While he knows about the clans existence he doesn't really care until it's personal and as such he really doesn't know how large clans work. He will struggle with ideas like that you feed everyone, not just your own family and that you care for and protect the clan and they do the same for you (no way can that work cats sometimes don't even do that for kin). And while competent fighter and hunter he can be too ruthless in both which has both benefits and downsides.

Some tid bits of knowledge:

• Dapple honestly wasn't too enthused about his litter at first as it triggered a lot of dysphoria but warmed at the thought that this could be his family.
• This of course ended poorly and while most of the litter is still alive Dapple hasn't seen them in a long time and doesn't talk about them either.
• Dapple has had multiple mates and is kinda jaded about love (poor guy)
• Dapple has been a kittypet for a time but while it was comfortable he was way too bored and eventually left leaving his old owners leaving an abandoned kitten in his place.
• Dapple knows a lot of cats and while he doesn't personally like a lot of them he's still known as a (not) friendly face and someone to go to if you need help.
• Siblings are just a big thing for him and he's pretty game for it but the clan thing will take some convincing.
• He's got no regard for his own life anymore like at all, he's fought dogs with the help of some other rouges.
• Big boy tall and muscled but not a brick.
• Im a very active rper with all my cats so you don't have to worry about him disappearing.

Moony is a 39 moon old kittypet who has lived with twolegs for almost his entire life. He is a large grey and white tom representing a maine coon, though since he was born to clan cats, he is mixed breed. He is very closed off, and had a lone-wolf kind of attitude, and finds it very hard to trust others.

He has no memory of his kithood, and only has close ties to a loner named whisper, who resents the clans. Moony has picked up on some of that hatred, though he is unsure of why Whisper hates the clans so much. He feels no pull towards the forest, or clan life at all, and is content with life as a kittypet.

His trust issues lead to him being cold and defensive when meeting other cats, which causes him to become enemies with many. Still, once he trusts you, his softer side will begin to show itself. he currently is going through some rough times with whisper, and is questioning whether the clans are really as bad as whisper makes them out to be, but he has no intention of finding out. At least,for now, that is.

Extra Note: Since other cats always laughed at his original kittypet name (Dobby) whenever they heard it, he decided to change it to something much more “cool” and “intimidating” (Python) instead.

(( Originally I was just messing around with this character concept for fun, not to submit or anything, but then I accidentally started to take a real liking to him! If he doesn’t get chosen, I think I may just rework him for something else instead, heheh. ))
