Puddlepaw returned the smile. "That's great! I'm nearly done with everything, but I feel like I want some extra battle training. Just because I don't feel comfortable there yet. It's just so exciting to think about how close we are! What do you think your warrior name might be?"

Storm felt a cat following behind and he stopped in his tracks. He listened to her voice and scented Windclan on her. "My name's Storm and on my way to see if I could join Windclan I scented a familiar scent. Nevermind about that it's gone.", he meowed. Storm was a bit nervous. He had heard of Windclan due to the fact that he was half Windclan. He had never lived there and was hoping too. "My family has told me so much of the Windclan blood I have in me and I wanted to see for myself and possibly join your clan.", Storm added.

Dodgepaw stepped over and stood back to back with Skyripple, his fur nearly brushing hers as his pelt fluffed up with excitement. He flexed his claws, then looked back at the warrior behind him. "Well, if we're just standing at one anothers' backs, how do we... you know, attack each other? Are we supposed to shuffle about with our spines touching the whole time?" His tail flicked as he shot a questioning look at Skyripple before turning his mentor, Wishpool.

Leappaw flicked her ears. "I'm sorry for mentioning it then." She said dipping her head. Leappaw knew by then she had a lot to learn. @Moonraven

Heathernose was too involved in the training to notice her apprentice’s hesitation and winced a bit in empathy when her blow landed. Luckily, she’d been holding back- she didn’t want to hurt Quiverpaw. It seemed the apprentice didn’t mind the blow and in fact had been sparked to try her own counter attack. Heather dodged the first paw swipe but then pushed herself directly into the second swipe and felt it shove her to the side again.

“Nicely done.”

She countered with her own double paw swipe.

If you're still recovering, we should stop. Skunkblaze mewed. I'll catch a few first, to take back. she decided, already loping across the moor. Creeping close to a rabbit, she lunged, and ran across the moor. With a leap, she managed to bring it down, and panting slightly, she padded back to Rosepaw. Here. the molly mewed, dropping the rabbit at her apprentices feet. You should probably eat. I shouldn't have taken you out without letting you. Not really waiting for a reply, she slunk back across the moor. Most of the rabbits were gone now, but one young one remained. Using a scrub to get close to the prey, Skunkblaze lunged into a sprint. Ske managed to get close to the rabbit, and lunging, brought it down. She padded back to her apprentice, ready to head back. Ready to go back to camp? she asked, hoping Rosepaw would agree. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Puddlepaw's face suddenly lit up with surprise at Dawnpaw's name suggestion. "No way! I was having a talk with Basilpaw the other day, and we were coming up with possible names for everyone, and I also thought yours could be Dawnlight. Oh, and for myself, I feel like Puddlesplash might be nice." There had been more to that conversation with Basilpaw than he was saying, but he didn't want to bring the other topic up, as he'd been firmly against the idea of it in the first place.

Pretty much! Wishpool mewed, amused. In a real battle, not so much. Standing up like that, you're a big target, and enemies will probably come to you. But for now, practice moving as a pair with Skyripple. Standing up herself, she got ready to go back to back with Silverpaw. @Shimm. @Pancake @StealthWarrior

Puddlepaw nodded a little. "Same here. I also wonder what mine will be like. I know I've heard some apprentices get different ones, depending on the mentor. Which reminds me, how is your mentor?" He left out the fact that he couldn't even recall who Basilpaw's mentor was, which did make him feel like a bit of a bad friend.
