Yet she was going to play along with this game her mentor was playing... and maybe he would finally realise that she wasn't as stupid as he apparently deemed her to be. But they both know in this mentor/apprentice pairing that she was not the dumb one. It was... Quickass, rightfully named so. She had probably got more brains than he had at this point. Waving her floofed up tail, she looked back at her mentor, "Really... Do I need to run from you?" Yet she pushed, off, already having gained a few fox lengths from her first escape across the moors. Her short legs was making it harder for her to run than she would've preferred but she was surely going to beat him! Not because she was technically faster, but simply because to Pumapaw a loss was... it wasn't even going to be something she would consider, seeing that Quickass was well.... him. And she was never ever going to loose to him. Not in this very fine world was she fine with loosing to Quickass. Nope. Not going to. Hence she pumped her legs and tried to stretch out but it was a struggle with her simply inferior stride compared to his.

Quicksilver had figured from the start that Pumapaw wasn't going to run because she was scared. He knew her better than that, and Pumapaw didn't get scared easily. Any other apprentice, he would've had them running with their tail between their legs. Pumapaw? She just saw it as a game. And Quicksilver could roll with that. He knew that she would take this as a competition, and he would still get the running out of her that he wanted. He could already tell she was trying harder, her speed increasing greatly as he ran after her. She'd had a head start as well, of course, but the silver tomcat was quickly gaining, his longer strides allowing him to cover more ground in a shorter amount of time. He did have an unfair advantage, but challengeing him to a race would be the only thing that would increase her speed and make Pumapaw faster.
Though as they were approaching the biggest rise on Windclan territory, Quicksilver wondered if he should let Pumapaw have it this time and allow her to win, or if he should overtake her and show her that while she was getting better, she still had a lot to learn. Tough love it was of course, the the silver tomcat burst into full speed, coming up beside Pumapaw before, with a quick twist of his paw, he stopped short and placed himself right in front of the speeding she-cat, digging his claws into the ground so he would be prepared for the thump against his side of the feline running into him.

Beaverbounce felt Basilpaw roll away from him as he landed on his back, and the tom quickly stood back up, paws shooting out instantly to try and pin the younger feline down and declare this a win for himself.

Re: WindClan Training Moor
Lynxpaw was excited to finally be doing some training. When Breezefeather had offered to take her out training along with Rabbitpaw, she'd been pretty excited. The brown tabby listened intently to Breezefeather's instructions once they had arrived at the training moor, giving a nod, then watching the tom demonstrate the move carefully. Once he was finished, Lynxpaw readied herself, looking at Rabbitpaw across from her. "You ready?" She questioned. She was going to make sure all parties were ready before she began, this was just training after all. They could be fair here, right?

Re: WindClan Territory
Yewpaw
__________
Yewpaw hung back from the edge, mostly keeping her gaze to the dirt as Breezefeather searched. She kicked at pebbles and followed a few stale scents but otherwise didn't do much searching. Couldn't he just let her do this on her own? It seemed that just how her life was going to go anyway so might as well start getting used to it now. But no! He had to follow her around and treat her like she was incapable all for what? To make sure she didn't do anything stupid or risky? Why did he even care, anyway?
"Nothing." she replied, kicking at another rock and watching it disappear over the precipice. If only she could disappear.

WindClan Patrols
[This will can be used for anything relating to patrols. Patrols can be sent out here, reported, and patrols that fail to report back can be punished/scolded here. You can mention me here, unless its something that needs Twilight's attention, I probably won't have her response to the report.]

Re: WindClan Breezerock
[ @Moonraven ]
---Leopardbite----
Well, what could she say, it had been almost inevitable that this was what was to happen at this point....
Chin tilted high, Leopardbite took a confident pace toward the lilac-colored leader, chest puffed out as she let her scarred yellow eyes meet calmly with Twilightstar's. Execution. Here it was. Heh.... Yeah, she had it coming.
"Twilightstar," the cashmere began coolly. "You know, I've been rather awaiting this. However, I have several objections." Truth be told, the long-furred bengal's intentions were not as cruel as half the Clan's expectations probably inferred. "I'm just going to say this." Leopardbite sat back on her haunches, staring levelly down at the WindClan leader. "I should have the right to prove myself. Any cat should. I should be given a second chance. Because back in those territories, when I attacked those two apprentices? You gave me a warning. Told me to get out of your sight. You gave me a warning and that should be the final decision unless" - she jerked her chin up - I decide - which, the decision would be pretty foolish if you were to ask me - to attack yet another one of your Clanmates.
"Oh, and to say I fail at motherhood?" Leopardbite couldn't help but give a disgruntled snort. "I adopted Daisykit. Gave her a home - you know that. And not only that, but I've had kittens of my own. I loved them dearly. They were my everything: I treated them well, nurtured them. It wasn't until I came home from hunting one day to discover the sight of a couple of pesky crows pecking my babies to death." The queen raised a huge brown paw to stroke her tongue around the pads before continuing on.
"This is not a sob-story, Twilightstar: it is simply the truth. And if you're not willing to accept the truth, then so be it. If I go to hell today, I will not see my kittens. If I go to heaven today, I will not see my kids. And so do with me as you wish, but personally I think cats - yes, even including a cat such as cruel as me - should be given at least a mere second chance. I've only come into this Clan, and while that is absolutely no excuse whatsoever to attack two of your apprentices, it happened once. As I've previously stated, you gave me a warning. That should be enough. And it is."

Re: WindClan Patrols

{Patrol report, THC/WC Border}
Padding into the clearing, Breezefeather spotted Twilightstar. Considering that Brindlejaw had resigned, he would no longer be reporting to that cat any longer but rather the leader. Bowing his head curtly, the senior warrior got straight to the point. "No trouble on the Thunderclan border by the Thunderglade, however there was a twoleg thing. Not sure what exactly it was but we made sure it wasn't dangerous and then disposed of it. We also made sure to remark the border." Easy simple. Report done. With that said he turned around and headed away.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Shockpaw narrowed their eyes, bristling, suddenly remembering their first two mentors. They wanted to rip into her.
"Losing your own children doesn't excuse abusing someone else's. You didn't give her a home- Windclan is her home. Any other, more responsible, queen could have taken in Daisykit and she would still have somewhere to live."
They no longer were upset of her attacking Smolderpaw and them (Smolderpaw, yes, themself, less so) but this mention of abuse? No.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
[ @Rainquail ]
Leopardbite shot a level glance over at the apprentice who had spoken. "You know, I already recommended to Songbird that she herself take Daisykit in. Twilightstar had mentioned the start of my training anyway," she muttered, though her voice was made deliberately loud enough for the throng of cats to hear. "And when did I ever make any mention of abuse? My kits died - I never used that as an excuse."

Re: WindClan Breezerock
Cedarfoot glanced up at Twilightstar briefly, biting back a growl of her own. As if! Her leader was acting like she had abandoned her apprentice, which, no- she did not. If it weren't for that damned fox, Runningpaw would be watching this ceremony next to her. Possibly insuting her, but here. Her death was not the result of Cedarfoot not working. Surly expression coating her features, the golden-and-white molly searched the crowd for this so-called Cloudpaw. Where even was the little brat? @Silverclover
