Ripplepaw did not get spooked easily. She was quite observant so normally was able to pick out sounds of one creeping up on her. But she was in the clearing, and there was a lot going on, and she was not paying very close attention to anything that would be sneaking up behind her.
So when she was suddenly dive-bombed by another cat screeching their greeting, Ripplepaw was in no way prepared. She leaped up, her back arching as she let out a yowl of her own, her eyes widening. Once she had the unwanted added weight off of her, Ripplepaw whirled around, glaring at them with narrowed eyes. "What was that for?!?!" She yowled, though after a moment she shook her head, beginning to laugh. "Well Spiderpaw, you really got me good." No hard feelings of course, Ripplepaw had just been really stunned.

"Who can handle Rainpuddle?" Lionstar mused. "Pretty sure that guy is dumber than a frog!" Given the meeting interjection where he was a non-listener, and now.. this.. apparent break in his mental state? Maybe a visit to Fawnsqueak was in order since they no longer had Omenshade. "Take a bit to catch your breath and clear your head, I'll.. look into dealing with that birdbrain. If you're feeling like taking Lizardpaw out later, you can do so if you wish."

Lionstar frowned at the sight of Cottonstrike's paw. He didn't understand what had happened but wasn't going to question it. "Good work! Maybe you should have Fawn take a look at your paw..?"

Hmm, interesting. "Nice job finding the herbs! I'm sure Fawnsqueak appreciates it." The more the Clan gave him, the less nonsense he had to deal with when it came to running around like a headless chicken. "Turtles, you say?" That gave him an idea.. of a snack pit. Aw, Lionstar almost felt bad for the little guy. His first outting and his mentor already failed him. What was wrong with warriors these days?

"Easy," he told Fenpaw. "This isn't your fault. I'll speak to Sparrowfrost about his behavior and I'll get you a new mentor-- Stars know you deserve one! Get some rest, alright?"

Flyfur's mind had wandered during the conversation, thinking about bringing the frog she caught to Bumblebelly. He seemed to enjoy those slimy things. Creekleap breaking away pulled her out of her daze and she followed behind her.

Shinepaw practically jumped when her sides was randomly poked by someone, whipping around to spot Ripplepaw. Her head tilted trying to understand the mess of a sentence the apprentice spat out.

"Uhm..Okay?" Shinepaw hadn't understood what the silver tabby said but just would go along with it. "Where are we even going?" Shinepaw mewed still confused at whatever the mess Ripplepaw said was.

Ripplepaw nodded in affirmation. Good, Glowpaw... right... that was it? Yeah, this was Glowpaw. She was glad the other she-cat didn't protest, less protest meant less work for Ripplepaw and getting her boredom squashed sooner. "I really don't know." Ripplepaw meowed with a shrug of her shoulders. "Do we need a warrior to go into the territory? If so we should find one. That'll be our first mission. Alright? Alright. Yeah. Let's go figure this out." Ripplepaw didn't leave much room for answers, she was here to get things and get things done she would.

Leaning into the she-cat's body, Sassafrasfire tries to recall what they'd even wanted in the first place. It was hard! Hm... Oh, right! Ternsky smiled brightly at Sassafrasfire's response, this was just what she needed today. A fun outing with the feline to just go and be the ridiculous lovesick dorks that they were. At the mention of their apprentice though, Ternsky tilted her head, laughing a little bit. "I'm sorry but like... apprentices are fun and all and you probably adore Petuniapaw, but they sure can be dumb." She giggled, shaking her head with emphasis. "But yes in all seriousness, we shall go hunting. Don't want tall Lion boy getting puffed up because there was no prey brought back by one of the clan's most skilled hunters." Ternsky complimented with a flirty wink, before turning and sauntering towards the camp exit, glancing back to make sure Sassafrasfire was following.

She glanced over at duskit over in the nursery. “Bet ya the other kits wouldn’t betray me like that.” She mumbled.

Sproutkit poked his head out of the nursery, his nose twitching as he took in the scents. After hesitating for a bit, he scrambled out into the clearing, his eyes wide and his ears lowered against his head. He looked around in slight fear. Everything was so big out here! Well, that's what he thought, at least. Maybe it was just because he was so tiny, and maybe things really were that big. It's not like he had never been out in the clearing yet, he just wasn't all that used to it. As he padded over to the fresh kill pile, he accidentally bumped into the legs of a large tom. Glancing up to apologize, he let out a loud squeak when he noticed that it was the deputy, Sootflare, "Eek! I-I'm s-s-so sorry! I p-promise!" he squeaked, cowering in fear.
