outskirts
A small white she cat with some grey spots walked through the alley ways sniffing the air as she did. She could smell another cat but couldnt tell where the scent was coming from, she yawned and hid behind a trashcan laying down and resting her eyes.

Alerick wasn't too sure why he was coming back to Twolegplace. He had no interest in the city's tight alleyways and bright lights, and yet here he was, prowling the backstreets as he looked for tonight's dinner.
Instead of coming across a lost alley mouse or even the rare pigeon, he stumbled upon a cat walking through the alley. Instinctively he took a step back, whisking around the corner so he couldn't be seen, but after a brief moment of thought, he decided that this lone she-cat wasn't a major threat. He was much larger than her, and if she came at him, he would easily be able to knock her back a tail-length or two.
With a deep breath, he stepped back into the alleyway and called out a tentative, "Hello, there, are you lost?"

Storm almost jumped out of her skin as she heard the voice "h-hi no im not lost" she was scared so she started to unsheath her claws for she did not know what this cat was going to do.
