Hmmmm pounce on the calmly resting warriors tail and face the consequences of disturbing her or give up on her hunt? For Willowpaw it was a difficult choice.
Eventually deciding against potentially pissing off a warrior Willowpaw shuffled closer to sit nearby cocking a head at Nightfeather. "Why is your pelt always so shiny? It never looks messy even when you come back from hunting, is there a trick to it or do you just not wrestle or stuff with the others?" There were warriors that Willowpaw noticed didn't really 'play' or have fun around the clearing but it was usually the older ones not the young warriors. Even Lionstar joined in on the fun a lot and he was leader.
"Your pelt always just looks pretty, I cant get mine to look like that for anything." Embarrassed she made a couple licks on the more ruffled parts of her pelt but the action was drops in the bucket against the wider mess.

Frostpaw howled with laughter but eventually gathered herself "okay okay sorry, f u like him u should tell him mom!" she smiled thinking she was facing he mother not knowing she was facing away from her mum.

Frostpaw didn’t comment that her daughter was facing away from her,” It’s not that simple“ she purred laughing, knowing her daughter was right.

Frostpaw nodded "im glad i dont like anyone" this was the truth she hadnt really met any other apprentices or other cats that she could like.

Salmonsong smiled,” I’m sure you’ll like someone some day, most cats like someone when they get older, but it’s okay if you never do.“ she added in knowing some cats just never liked someone.
