Frostpaw rolled her eyes "mom i should have died when my birthmotehr left me out there, all i did was put my clan mates in troble and im blind! im pretty much useless atleast almondbush can see shapes and he isnt like me who runs into things because i cant figure out how to make sure nothing is in front of me im pretty much useless!"

Salmonsong was heartbroken to hear that,” That wasn’t your fault, none of that was. It wasn’t hard for our clan to fight your mother off, she wasn’t that difficult to fight. Your smart, beautiful, kind, caring compassionate. I don’t need my daughter to be the best warrior in the clan, you’re fine just the way you are, my life would be incomplete without you.“ she meowed

Woollyflame snorted in response to the first comment. Pfft. "Maybe if you’d been up earlier, you could’ve. You missed a heroic battle." Aha, take that. He only poked fun at her sleeping habits because... well, let’s say that Slatesting pretty much slept for herself and him. Woolly tended to have trouble sleeping, while it seemed, to him, she could fall asleep any time. The only times he could fall asleep well was when some cat hummed or sang to themself in their nest. Star Cats, it was like his weakness.

Busy schedule? "Oh, yeah. Right. We can schedule it between your sunhigh nap and your afternoon nap. That ought work." He spoke with a mischievous grin. Hehe, take that.

Yeah, yeah. Ashpool seemed nice! Why was he nervous when talking with strangers? They were in the TiverClan clearing. They were Clanmates. WHY WAS HE LIKE THIS? Oh, dear. It had been too long since anyone had spoken. He blurted, "So, how are you?" whew. Way to save it, he guessed. He didn’t know anymore. Beanpaw was just... nervous.

There seemed to be a moment of almost tension, a moment that nearly caused the warrior to finally open her eyes to actually see what this other feline was up to. But in the split second she nearly made that decision, there was a voice answering her question. She could hear the little shuffle, the settling down and finally Nightfeather focused her amber gaze on Willowpaw.
There was something intimidating about having that amber gaze focused so carefully on you, they way it raked over your appearance with what could have been scrutiny- though that might not have been the right word. Her demeanor was particularly neutral as she looked Willowpaw over, taking in those unkempt tufts, the somewhat wild appearance of a typical apprentice. Nothing out of the ordinary, but enough to make her tail flick in disdain. It was only when she was brought back to the question did she realize, perhaps the apprentice did care about how they looked.
For a moment, as she readjusted her weight, stretching her white paws out in front of her, chin held up straighter, she would look away from Willowpaw, contemplating on the answer she would give. It wasn't the typical question she received, more often than not it was 'Why do you care so much?'
This was a much better question though. She enjoyed this question very much. Her eyes focused back to the apprentice, a sharp light glimmering there.
"There are a great many factors that goes into ones appearance between diet, daily regimens, and being aware of your surroundings. To say I don't get dirty would be a lie, it's a matter of being sure to not allow for the grime to remain." Her gaze will sweep over the apprentice once more. "You should spend more time grooming it. The fish are excellent for your coat I've come to find out, specifically with sheen and the ability to repel water. And never stop grooming until it's perfect, no matter how tired you feel. The more time you spend on fixing yourself and perfecting yourself initially, the less you'll have to fix it up throughout the day." There was something very prim, very proper about how she spoke. Elegant would be another descriptor, and with the way she held her head one might have assumed her as snobbish. But there was the slightest smile on her muzzle as she looked at the apprentice, seemingly happy to be able to share this information with someone who actually cared.
