1. Explore
Alyssa would stare at the vent, her black eyes sparkling with curiosity.
She’d start to climb the wall, her small claws digging into the wallpaper.
She’d be up near the ceiling in a few seconds, the dark vent almost calling to her.
She’d let out a deep breath, the small sound of air giving her an idea of the pathway around her.
She’d keep going, the light of her room fading away.
Suddenly she’d hit her head, there were two pathways.
From the left there were some faint sounds, something knocking against the walls.
The sound sent a shiver down her back.
the right, a small shaft of light sparkling in the deep shadow.
Maybe it was a way out? She honestly couldn’t tell yet.
The vent was too narrow to turn around in.. she had to make the choice now.
Which way should she go?
1. Left
2. Right

Maybe it's because all the good choices are 1. and nothing bad has happened by choosing the number one.
