As the warrior struck her, Lizardpaw saw an opening and attacked. She rammed her forhead into her opponent's stumach in an attempt to knock the air out of her.

they did it! beanpaw peeked as spiderpaw tried to chomp the warrior. yowch! actually, it probably wouldn’t have hurt that bad. after all, the apprentices were under orders to not hurt anyone. but the warrior admitted defeat, and he ungracefully flopped down. "we did it!!" he cried, bumping up against spiderpaw. they really would get all the pats! yay!

Despite the fact that it was always fun to beat up Blizzardbaby, she also wanted a good fight, with an actual worthy opponent. Blizzardpaw gave a hiss as he was insulted in the battle, he reached up in attempt to scratch at Berryscorch’s face. It was a very basic battle move, but it was better than his attempts at hissing and growling.

Nighttuft was too focused on trying to hit the apprentice she wasn't prepared for the headbutt. She got pushed back but digged her claws into the ground, slowing her down. Stopping, the warrior approached again and tried to hit more blows, trying to cover up the gap where Lizardpaw had headbutted while at the same time trying to push her back.

Lizardpaw almost smiled at her partial success but kept her composure. Emotions had no place on the battlefield. She avoided Nighttuft's attacks, spin on her front paws and lashed out her back legs on to a sweeping kick.

"yAY!!!" spiderpaw squealed, bumping beanpaw back as the warrior forfeited. they would totally make great warriors -- if spiderpaw ever got that far, seeing as she'd already gone through 3 mentor changes since she'd first been assigned one. "look at us go! i told you we were going to get all the pats!!" the apprentice beamed, putting her paw up for a high-five. heck yeah! giving the warrior a small smile, spiderpaw began her victory celebration- and turn, turn, sway, and strike a pose! spiderpaw feigned a regal stance, head held high, for the victory pose before breaking character and letting out a tiny laugh. now all she had to do was go bug lionstar to make sure he kept his word!

Berryscorch smirked as she got the reaction that she was hoping for. Well... not exactly. She'd been looking for the baby to fight back, but what she wasn't expecting were the unsheathed claws. Gahh. Yet another one of her schemes working against her here. As soon as the fat white paw came shooting up for her face, she jerked her head back to avoid the blow, but the stupid claws still managed to strike the tip of her nose. It didn't quite hurt, but a tiny drop of blood dripped from the wound and splashed down, where it would hopefully soak into Blizzbaby's white fur. But a little blood stain in the fur wasn't enough payback for that. Noooo. She wanted ever so badly to just unsheathe her claws and rip them right down his face and sides, but she couldn't risk getting in trouble. Instead, swiftly as she could, she plunged her face down, aiming to give him a hard nip on the ear--another spot where she knew they hadn't done any pain tolerance training for.

Nighttuft took a step back to avoid the attack and continued to move forward, trying to land another few hits before leaping at her.
