Gingerpaw opened one at the familiar voice, his gaze being met firstly by the paws of who spoke to him, then lifted to see the figure of his first actual friend: Lotusheart. He cracked a slight chuckled at the nickname, turning onto his side then to a sitting position "hey," he greeted "congrats on becoming a warrior" Gingerpaw was aware that it had already been a little bit since the ceremony, but still felt the need to personally congratulate her.

"Thanks." she mewed. "Don't you think it's about time you became a warrior, too? You are 1 moon older than me." she pointed out.
"Is your mentor OK? How's training." A small tone of worry crept into her voice. The hadn't spoken in a while. Was everything OK?

"Hopefully he's creative enough." Ripplepaw agreed, tail flicking. Spiderpaw was cool, she deserved as cool of a name as Ripplepaw knew she was going to have. "I can always go and give him suggestions of course, as I am clearly qualified for that!" Ripplepaw meowed, smiling brightly. Her face screwed up for a moment in thought, before she brightened and flicked an ear. "I think your warrior name should be Spidercrash!" It was an allusion to the way Spiderpaw had come crashing into her earlier, but Ripplepaw also had a lengthier explanation. "Imagine how scared that would make other clan's warriors. Spidercrash? They'd probably think you could pummel them and wouldn't even think about invading us!" The silvery feline responded, bouncing up and down on her paws with excitement. She really should invest in a position as the official name suggester for Lionstar. He would love it of course! A busy guy like him needed some help.

"Well, I'm not sure if I can let you borrow my ideas, as they're mine and actually quite special to me and me only. But you certainly can be my partner in crime!" That sounded fun. Ripplepaw could be the smart one that came up with the super fun, super cool ideas, and Spiderpaw would be her partner who helped her execute all of her brilliant plans. That way they both got the credit, and Ripplepaw got to keep her ideas as her own. "Crabfish, crawfish, fishcrays, whatever they're called, it really doesn't matter." She agreed, but there was a matter at paw first that they had to deal with.

Scrunching up her face again in thought, Ripplepaw gave a glance around the clearing. "OOOOoo I know!" She announced, pointing a paw towards the far side of the clearing where Lionstar's den was. "We go ask Lionstar if we even need a warrior to come with us to the stream right outside of camp. If so, then we can ask him which one he suggests, and we can say we're practicing "fishing" which isn't exactly a lie, because the jabfish have 'fish' in their name. If we don't need one, then we can just go on our way!" It was another brilliant idea of course. Because they didn't have to tell the warriors what their plan was going to be once they caught the crabfish. "Let's go!" She announced, scampering towards the leader's den, glancing behind to make sure Spiderpaw was following.

Hazelpaw slipped lethargically into the sun-warmed clearing, stooping russet-furred head moving only to crane halfway over her shoulder every now and again - to ensure Whitepaw was following after, of course.

Spotting Rainydawn, the little molly ushered herself until she at last was able to manage picking up the pace, paws quickening into a bound of feigned enthusiasm. "Uh, h-hi, Rainydawn!" she gasped, and steadied to a halt before the speckled she-warrior. "U-uhm, Whitepaw and I were wondering if you could take us out hunting?" Then, after a moment of consideration: "And maybe show us some battle moves?"

Yawning lethargically, Rainydawn stretches herself out in the sun. The day was wonderfully warm and she could feel the chill of the water fading under the delicious rays of the sun. Even though she’d just gone for a swim, the grey toned molly looked forward to another jaunt to the river later- maybe she’d take Hazelpaw.

Speaking of the apprentice, Hazelpaw’s voice caught the warrior’s ear. Rainydawn looked up to see her apprentice approaching and pushed herself up with a stifled yawn to hear what she had to say. Flicking an ear thoughtfully, Rainydawn tilted her head to the side as she tried to decide, finally shrugging to herself and returning her gaze to Hazelpaw.

“Sure, I can take you two out. Whitepaw’s mentor’s okay with it too, right?”

Hazelpaw's nostrils flared anxiously. Well, shoot: she sure hadn't been considering if Rainpuddle would be okay with Whitepaw being taken out hunting. Was he, though? What if Whitepaw ended up chasing after a duck and... and falling into the river?

Hazelpaw snorted, irked with herself. I doubt that'll happen, she thought a bit more sensibly. Anyway, who cares if Whitepaw's mentor isn't fine with it - she'll live to see another sunrise.

Averting her eyes away from Rainydawn, Hazelpaw piped shakily up: "Well, I'm not exactly sure, but I think we'll be fine, heh." Hopefully her mentor would take this an an acceptable answer.

Podpaw skipped throught the clearing, smiling at some other apprentice. "HII'MPODPAW" He screamed, still amped up from his apprentice ceremony. "Sorry, I'm so excited because I'm a new apprentice and it's going to be so much fun how long ago did you become an apprentice because i became one yesterday!" taking a deep breath, Podpaw held himself back from speaking more. @gs29513
