A dark figure made his way into the den. He knew that he should quickly speak to Surgestorm and get back to Zerosight to see if his mentor is fine and not overdoing himself, but this was his first time in Windclan and he let his autumn gaze wander around the den. He wanted to see what it was like, even though they had moved camps, plus he was also trying to take in how many herbs had survived.

The young tom was seriously unnerved about this whole trip, even if it was short and nothing could really go wrong. He was still on the fact that he wished Zerosight was here with him, but knew it best to leave the sick tom behind in the safety of the camp in hopes that he might actually let himself rest. If returned to find his mentor in even worse condition, he'd feel so guilty leaving him alone and not watching over him. But the two of them had been worried about Surgestorm and just Windclan in general. Please Zerosight, don't a mouse-brain and please get some rest while I'm out here, he silently pleaded to his mentor.

He felt awkward when he noticed another cat that was in need of Surgestorm's attention. He frowned sympathetically at Stormkit when he realized that the patient was just a kit. He remembered when a small loner kit had been brought to him and Zerosight with a cough. He learned to hate having kit patients, seeing kits injured and in need of a medicine cat's attention was much worse than having an injured warrior. Though neither was all that good. "My apologizes if I'm interrupting something," he mewed awkwardly to his fellow medicine cat. "But when you have a free moment, can we speak?"

Stormkit blinked up at Northpaw. She raised her nose, and sniffed his fur. "Are you a Thunderclan medicine cat?" she meowed quietly, and nodded to herself. Yep, he is she confirmed to herself, and studied his gaze, which was uncomfortable. She tilted her head, and twitched her striped tail.

"Please Forestkit, I'm not trying to be annoying on purpose, I'm just excited... you know that after awhile I'll calm down and act normal." She looked down at her paws as she said this and flicked her tail. "I think that I'm pestering you too much, I'll just head back to the nursery."

Forestkit let out a low hiss. Dawnkit leaving her didn't exactly help her mood. Walking away was almost the worst thing to do for this cat. She unsheathed her tiny claws, sinking them into the loose dirt below her. "Dawnkit, are you serious?" She said in even more annoyance now. She hated when people let her natural temper get personal. She knew that letting cats get personal meant for your own defeat, so she didn't let it bother her. Apparently though not all cats acted that way.

Moonpaw smiled slightly, almost shy in a way that she had grown accustomed to feeling around other cats who she didn't know. Not so much shy as it was antisocial but it still felt like being shy to her. As an attempt to start a conversation with the other she-cat she decided to introduce herself and with another slight bow of her head she began.
"Hello, my name is Moonpaw." She mewed, forgetting that she had already greeted to other cat with a hello a few moments earlier.

Nodding his head, Surgestorm turned away once more, his stomach turning at the memory. It was vivid, and he almost felt like he could still smell the blood in the air. "I'm serious..." He mumbled, his voice low with anger. "Killed them in cold blood... Singenight and his deputy, Gorsefeather, they're horrible cats." The medicine cat's voice broke, his body quivering slightly. "I couldn't do anything to help them..." He dug his claws into the soot-covered ground, forcing himself to calm down.
After a moment, the tom bit his tongue and finished bundling the herbs together, bringing them to Northpaw's side. "I can't talk about it... and frankly I don't really want to," He meowed sadly, his yellow eyes pained. His gaze flicked to the exit of his den, watching for any of his leader's followers. "You should leave, before one of them tells of your visit. If these leaders can dislaw StarClan, then they could easily get rid of the rule that says medicine cats can travel across borders. And, I don't want you to get hurt." It was obvious the WC medicine cat was terrified.

The medicine cat in training watched with a somber gaze as Surgestorm confirmed that it was not a joke, but in fact real. How could anyone do that? Killing is terrible, but killing your own clanmates? It's against the code! But these cats seem to easily discard any code they please that doesn't encourage their rule - so they hadn't hesitated to kill anyone that could threaten their reign. He couldn't believe any of this though. He could understand how anyone could kill another cat or even how the clan hadn't been able to stop them. Some probably support him despite this malicious act.

Northpaw gave a small nod of understanding as the tom informed him that he shouldn't - and didn't - want to talk about such events. "I understand," his voice was a bit shaky, but he tried to steady it as he watched Surgestorm. He believed that the medicine cat would be punished if he spoke of Singenight with a tone of disapproval. He himself wouldn't chance such things around Thunderclan in fear of being punished himself.

"Thank you so much," he forced a purr and a pleasant tone as he accepted the wrapped up herbs from the other. His ears seemed to flatten at the thought of being forced out from the sudden change of rules, but after what he had just learned he wouldn't chance it. "Good-bye Surgestorm," he waved his tail in a friendly manner, but his gaze lacked the upbeat mood he was trying to leave on as he left the den.

The tom didn't wait this time for an escort due to being in quite a rush to leave Windclan and make it back to Thunderclan and speak to Zerosight about what he had learned. The dark tabby quickly weaved through the cats and ran towards the Thunderclan territory, fear keeping him running without really loosing breath until he got to his destination.

He started. The Savannah became intriged. Was he just messing with him, or had Bucknight really been killed? The leader did not reply with his name, not trusting the cat enough to do so. "Intrigue you enough for you to intrude on a Clans territory?" He sneered, sounding confident once again. As he spoke his voice remained strong and firm, no longer confused or shaken.

"Because I was there." he replied.
Onyx looked up at Singenight and rose his head.
"I was there, and I watched him be killed. Death by his own stubbornness and tongue. And my friend I fear you'll be next." he said, and stood, padding up to him.
"But, I have a proposal that they denied. Give me protection, and I'll try to help. I am one of the most feared in the Syndicate." the guard meowed. "And even so, if you did take a life from Dapplestar, your clan should survive, right? I mean, it's not like ShadowClan hasn't already been attacked..." he gave a sinister smile. He stepped into a patch of light, and revealed his blood-covered pelt.
Blood lined his maw as well from his fight with his own rival, and a fresh claw mark went over his left eye, and some previous scars also shown with the new layer of blood that matted his fur.

Singenight narrowed his pale gaze, his black pupils becoming the tiniest slits. "Bucknight is dead, and you said.." he paused, wrapping his mind around it. "you said Shadowclan is being attacked now?" The tom's tail flicked absent mindedly behind him. He nodded his head though. If an attack really was sweeping through the Clans, then he would need to gather some of his followers, integrating as many as he could find. "Alright Onyx, you may join us as a warrior on our side." he agreed, his leadership like personally slowly coming back to him after the discovery that he was going to be attacked shortly.

Jasper walked around the clearing. He saw kits playing and cats talking. Not being interested any cat other than the leader the black and white tom scanned the clearing with reddish eyes.

Forestkit scowled as the other kit left her. The fiery tempered black she kit growled quietly towards Jasper and Flarerunner, hearing their conversation, more than she wanted too. She turned away pointedly and approached her father who was sleeping at the base of the Breeze rock. Quietly and gently she shook him awake, his pale eye blinking open. The leader smiled down at his daughter and touched his nose lightly to hers. Forestkit stretched up to her father's ear and whispered into it. Singenight's gazed traveled around the clearing until they landed on Jasper. He gave a curt nod to his daughter and stood, nudging Forestkit back towards the nursery.

Singenight approached the loner cat, his eyes narrowed slightly,but overall tried to remain cool about the situation. "Greetings Jasper." He said with a small nod of his head. "Mind if I sit?" he asked, his voice calm and inviting, only a mask from what lay below.

Jasper sat as he heard his named called. He blinked seeing Singenight approach him. The tom smiled at his question,"Sure you can sit. Are you the leader, Singenight?"
