There in the nursery Deerpetal was laying in her nest, watching her four kittens play. They were all just so cute. The molly glanced outside the den, looking at her guard. She glanced away and looked back at her adorable kits. A purr rose in her throat. They were all so cute. Deerpetal didn't want to be separated from them. It would tear her up in the inside to be away from them.

"It's alright I'm fine, I don't need a medicine cat," Forestpaw mewed eyes shining kindly. She wasn't even mad, it had been an accident! She was touched that he had been so worried though. He seemed nice she liked nice cats. Speaking...or thinking of nice cats I should check up on my siblings soon especially Bloompaw. Her brow furrowed in worry. What if he was hurt or scared or...stop. Focus on Lionpaw. She smiled at him hoping to ease his nerves.

Lionpaw smiled softly in thanks. His new friend was fine. It had been an accident. Just an accident. He hadn't been purposely trying to hurt her, so that must've meant something, right? The golden tom noticed Forestpaw's brow furrow and opened his maw to ask before deciding against it. Whatever she was thinking about, it was none of his business. The molly reminded Lionpaw of his friend; a white she-cat with bright blue eyes. She had gone missing around a fortmoon ago and no one had seen her since. The abyssinian himself was very concerned. What if his friend was lost or hurt? Ha, now it wss him who was getting lost in his thoughts. @Wolfgirl8

Berrybreeze paused for a moment, the air between the tom thick with hesitation, confession, tension...
and then the tortoiseshell tom began to laugh.
"Oh, thank STARCLAN! That was gonna be real awkward for me otherwise. Because if you had actually had a crush on a molly I think my soul would have, like shattered. Yeah? But I was still going to support you because you're my best friend- but you're so much more." Berrybreeze grinned, slightly out of breath from rattling off his feeling in one ol paragraph. That explained it, right? Maybe he had to be more discreet. The tortoiseshell buried his shoulder into the smaller tom's again, though this time his smile held something deeper. "So if that wasn't obvious enough- yeah. Iiiiii may or may not have called you my kinda boyfriend in the fire? I mean it was in my head and also I almost died but i think it counts!"

This kit was speaking a mile a minute and Cormorantglide just wanted to sleep. He slitted his eye and glared at the kid as she bounced around, really not in the mood to deal with a kit. Perhaps he was being a bit harsh but he just wanted to nap! Yet... Cormorantglide didn’t want to turn into a grouchy elder already.

Sighing, Corm pulled himself to his paws, dragging his tail away from her greedy paws and tucking it behind him to avoid anymore abuse. It appeared that the kit wasn’t going anywhere until she got what she wanted, but Cormorantglide was not about to teach her how to climb a tree- that was dangerous and he would rather not have her mother come after him.

“Alright, Swallowkit, fine. I can teach you a few battle moves.”

WoooooooH! She was going to learn something! Battle moves! Oh she was going to do so good at them! And she would be able to show them off to Kestrel and become an apprentice AND a warrior before everyone else! "Woooh! Can you teach me how to beat a badger? So you know.... I dont have to sit and watch my family get eaten all over again? Cause you know, they got eaten by badgers! All except for me! and my brothers! Sister got her neck snapped and then eaten! Swallowed whole! Like my name! Except I'm named for the bird and not the action. But yes, mother and father got eaten too! Just like crunch crunch. Have you ever heard the sounds of bones snapping? Its not a nice sound." But nevertheless she went for his paws, first putting herself in a crouch rump sticking up and wriggling before she pounced on his paws. Swallowkit was going to be the greatest warrior! Swallowkit the Great!

Kestrelkit looked quite devastated after his sister’s comment about beating him. Utterly, completely crestfallen. Hadn’t he had the idea to climb the rock—the tree—first? How did Swallowkit manage it?

“If you beat me, it’s only because that dusty old elder wouldn’t stop talking my ears off earlier,” Kestrel grumbled in the she-kit’s direction without looking. His eyes were back on the rock. Ah—tree.

Imagining the rock was a big, leafy tree was the only way to practice. No trees actually grew inside camp, and inside camp was the only place Kestrel was allowed to be. Not that he paid much attention to rules. The little calico tom liked the way other kits watched him with wide eyes, equal parts surprised and impressed, when he broke a new one. It was worth the punishment every time. Even so! Before sneaking out, Kestrelkit had to practice climbing, so he could get it right the first time he tried to scale a real tree.

“If you climbed it already, it shouldn’t be hard,” he taunted. “You first.”

This was more of a ‘let my younger kit sister try it before me as an experiment’ than anything else.

"NO! I beat you fair and square! We both know I'm better at climbing than you are! Look at all my floof! It helps me stick to the rock. You've got none sooooo, I'm obviously better! Get that through your nicely thick skull!" Did Swallowkit just insult and compliment her brother in one? Yeah. And she was proud of it and she'd done so much good! Doing her own small little happiness dance on her paws and turning around in a pirouette she returned back to facing Kestrelkit. "And that grumpy old elder was a nice elder! We need to go visit them again! Maybe we can get treats if we behave nicely! Yes! Treats!" But then Kestrel wanted her to go first? Oh sure she could do! She could go first! And she was totally on board this was great. Letting out a high pitched happy squeal she stood on her tippy toes as she fluffed up her fur, the spikes appearing among her spine and she made herself a lot larger. That would surely help with the traction on the rock tree wouldn't it? "AHHHH EEEEEE" and off she charged towards it jumping and leaping for it but only resulted in banging her head somewhat on the rock. But it didn't matter! She'd gotten a foothold and with her paws secure she dragged herself to the top. "LOOK! I did it!" and she was dizzy as hell. But SHE'D DONE IT!

Blackscar rested in the camp, grooming his front paws with his tail brushing the ground side to side with his eyes half-closed as he did so. He rubbed his face and ear with his groomed front limb, then started grooming it again. It was nice to rest, to have no drama or fighting to endure. While he did like those things, it was a good thing to rest and recharge, maybe even socialize a bit.

Crowkit puffed out his tuxedo fur and scampered over to his mother. "Mama. We uhm.. snuck into a cats den a few days ago.." His ears flicked nervously and he curled into his mama's fur. He was a mama's boy.

The molly liked her apprentice, but she wasn't active enough. He needed someone who would actually train him. She looked at Buckstar. "I don't think I can mentor Adderpaw. He's a nice cat, but I haven't really been myself lately.", Linnetwing meowed. It wasn't that she was leaving. She wouldn't do that. This was her home and she would stay here.

The small brown tom padded out of the warriors den after a couple of warriors were being loud. He didn't mind them talking, but they were almost yelling. Volewhisper padded over to a spot, not realizing Blackscar was a couple fox lengths away. He sat down and turned to the other warrior. "It's a whole lot quieter out here than it is in the warriors den.", Volewhisper huffed.
