She stepped lighter and tried not to make too much noise. She stayed in the crouch but stopped to look at Eveninglight.

Eveninglight while watching grabbed a clump of moss and smiled,” Great. Now practice pouncing on the moss.” she meowed. After this she’d take them out for actual hunting.

He nearly wanted to cheer in relief that he didn't need to start the conversation between him and Spiritleap. Silentpaw nodded as she asked him if he was having a pleasant day. "Yyes, tthank yyyou Ms.Spiritleap! Tthe ssssun is indeed nnice ttoday!" the tabby replied while disposing the tiny minnow as soon as he was done. Silentpaw didn't want to attract any predators or anything to the camp.

Listening to the young tom talking, the gentle she-cat didn't even blink at his odd studdering, only listening attentively with a gentle nod and a sweet purr. "You should lay with me and bask. It's good for your cheer!" The motherly white she-cat patted the ground beside her with her pink padded paws. She wanted so dearly to be a mother so she was always very loving to the younger ones.
