Seemingly immediately, the black-furred tortoiseshell could feel the rims of her eyes enlarging with sheer curiosity. This was to have been expected of course, with how ofttimes wonderous Goslingkit had usually proved herself to be. Hm. What had the dogs done? Was there blood? Were any throats ripped out? Ooh, maybe someone had their eye - or eyes - gouged out!

She wanted to let the multitude of questions spill out, but bit reluctantly back her tongue, instead settling for letting out only one. "Was there anything gory?"

Fennelheart gave a nod,” Well yes...a few of the dogs took bites out of cats.” she meowed. She didn’t want to scare the kit any with much detail, she didn’t want to mention them actually eating the cats or anything horrific like that.

Hearing the indescribably-spoken words of the elder warrior triggered a snort of disappointment from Goslingkit. A few bites? Nah. That was just straight-up boring. The tortoiseshell yearned for the details, the graphics, the sheer brutality - not for the baby stories on how these mongrels took a few mere nibbles.

"No, no, no, no. I mean like, did anyone die? If so, how? And was it slow and excruciating, or quick and easy, hm?" Goslingkit, truth be told, had no interest with the actual disturbance of what had actually transpired, but was just... unusually curious, she supposed.

Well, still decently bland, but at least the warrior had cared enough to go deep with how some cats had lost too much blood. For now, Goslingkit supposed the equivocal explanations would have to make do. Whatever.

One more question, however: "Soooo... Were any of the SkyClan cats eaten?"

Mostly eaten, the dogs don’t eat bones so they eat all the meat off their prey and spit out the bones.“ she meowed she didn’t quite explain that she watched some of her clanmates eatten and their bones spit out,” We buried their bones.” she added,” Well the ones they didn’t run with to chew on.” she explained. Oh gosh, Goosefury would kill her for this.

Goslingkit’s forequarters stiffened as a shakily-presented couple of words spoke from behind her. The little tortoiseshell’s dimming orange eyes slanted to risk a sidelong glance at who had been ever-so-brave enough to speak up. Ah, good Starclan, it was Darkkit! Gee whiz, couldn’t that idiotic tom tell by now Goslingkit was clearly occupied with something?

The dappled she-kit’s words were a low growl as she confronted Darkkit. “Shush! I’m listening to the story of how some dogs ripped up a few Skyclan cats, so buzz off Darkfreak!” Hopefully that would shoo him away - and hopefully Goslingkit wouldn’t get in trouble for the second time due to lashing out at him.

Brightkit's mouth fell open in his shock, exhibiting an array of little white teeth. "How did you guess that!?" He practically yelled out (even though she'd explained already), energy rippling through his small frame. The tom-kit's fur was as Frostkit described; black as Starpelt with no stars. The rest of his new friend's description made Brightkit grin the widest grin yet. "You're a great friend too, Frost. You'll always be my friend-- won't you?"
