Breezefeather frowned slightly. Another patrol? The silver tom was happy to get Rabbitpaw out again but this would be a patrol on something that he didn't morally agree with. The raid itself had been fine but driving out another clan? Didn't sit well with him and now he was supposed to patrol in this new territory they'd won for themselves. Not even hunt and use it for something other than a landgrab. He flickered his ears unable to suppress his frustration with the entire concept. But he couldn't do anything but listen to orders. It was as it was. "Rabbitpaw, come on over," he called out, tail swooshing against the ground as they waited for Darkfire to show up. If they didn't he would try his best to finish up the patrol as quickly so he could teach Rabbitpaw more hunting techniques.

Wolffang blinked as the rogue dodged the move, feeling impressed. "Impressive," he meowed, flicking his ears. "Like I said before, a variety of moves can be done after stunning the enemy. Now, why don't you try it on me? But you should know this, Stormpaw: I'm not loosening up for you. You have to actually take me off-guard."

The apprentice thought for a moment. Perhaps some hunting would be good. He was a little rusty at it and would need some new pointers as he really didn't hunt before he came here. He had just scrounged around for food. "How about hunting?", Stormpaw responded.

Sure! I love hunting! Skunkblaze mewed happily, giving a tiny hop. She was very glad it was hunting, not fighting. She could fight, but not as well as she could hunt. Turning towards the entrance, she bounded out, waving her tail. (Sorry for the late reply)

But even that was kind of entertaining.

However, there was something... disheartening about Robinnose's repeated attempts to be genuine rather than engage in his mode of communication. It was an invitation to sling back, and all he received was typical small-talk. The boredom was more gripping than their shallow discussion.

And that was another strike in the bland column. Brushing it off, he assured, "Really, you should only offer your apologies if I had been pregnant." Stars, the poor guy was even more socially inept than he was if the cues of the conversation were flying over his head. It was sort of nice he was so genuine about everything--including his friendliness--but there was an element of disappointment that he wouldn't cross into a playful exchange or challenge him.

Maybe he'd just entertain himself since Robinnose wouldn't participate.

"You know, the usual," he replied, shrugging. "We were taken hostage by fish in our underwater camp, so we've mostly retreated to operations above ground for now. Gotta wait until the kit-army is more trained up before we attempt taking it back. Until then, we've.. just been relying on slave labor from ThunderClan. We're hopeful that they someday learn enough words to communicate as our equals, but, yeah."

Robinnose let out a chuckle at the statement. Oh, this tom was delightful to be around! "well, my name came from the spotch on my nose! It would be quite weird to be called robinbeak, don't you think?" he lightheartedly explained, lifting a paw to point at the light reddish-brown splotch on the side of his muzzle. "though, it would also seem fitting for my name to be robinspot. I don't really mind though, it's a unique name!" he smiled with a small shrug.

When Fawnsqueak introduced himself, a smile appeared on his muzzle. They were getting somewhere! His amazing socialization skills were working! "it's a pleasure to meet you, Fawnsqueak! And to be frank, I would say it's less of an 'I watch you at gatherings', and more of an 'I acknowledge that you're there'. After all, not many cats forget about the medicine cats. Actually, there are probably quite a few cats that do. Hmm.." he rambled on, trailing off a bit at the end as he let out a thoughtful him at the thought.

His eyes widened slightly in surprise at the...joke? Wait, was Fawnsqueak trying to crack some jokes earlier? That didn't sound right. They didn't really sound like jokes, so maybe they weren't. This, though. This was definitely a joke. And one he could kind of get behind!

"Oh my, my, my! I hope those fish set you free at some point! Though, I doubt they would go down without a fight! And, don't worry. Kits are always quite tiring to train. The little balls of fur are always distracted when they see something shiny out of the corner of their eye. Honestly, sometimes I wish kits were more like young warriors, wouldn't you agree?" he tried to go along with the joke, though he wasn't sure how...funny he was being. But he should be able to get a small chuckle out of the red-brown tom. Hopefully.

"hmmm. Well, I would personally recommend trying to launch a sneak attack! After all, fish don't seem to be the brightest of things. Plus, just think of all that prey! After you take back your wonderful underwater camp, you would have enough prey for a huge feast!" he commented, laughing a bit at the situation. When was the last time he had talked with a Cat from another clan like this? It must've been a moon or two ago at this point.

"Oh, poor lads. I've heard that the smoke from the fire messed with them. I don't remember the last time I had ever had a conversation with one of them." he mused with a small shrug. Honestly, he felt kind of bad to joke about them like that, but it was all in good fun. What harm could it do?

Boring would be an understatement for how Moonchasers day was going. At least boring was uneventful, clean, neat. Well hello, who was this utter eye candy? Maybe today wouldn't be boring afterall.

Moonchaser was quick to shift to his paws, a silky sweet purr dripping from his throat like honey milk. "Oh my, well I'm glad to see someone around here has good taste," He hummed to the Tom, starting to circle him. Moonchasers small stumped tail was lifted, the soft white curls no doubt tickling under Robinnose's chin as the young warrior passed. "What should I call you, sweetcheeks? Other than hopefully mine," Moonchaser chuckled, his cocky nature apparent.

Robinnose could've sworn that his heart skipped a beat. Before he knew it, a loud purr escaped him, his smile widening. Oh, this was amazing! His little gay heart had told him that he should talk to Moonchaser, and he was glad he listened to it. As they tom circled around him, he noticed just how fluffy his fur was! It was just like a cloud!

His nose scrunched up as some of the fur on Moonchasers tail tickled his chin. "Oh my! Well, as much as I would love to have a nickname like that, I do think that an introduction is needed. I'm Robinnose!" he announced, his voice lowering a bit. After all, very few cats knew about his sexuality, and safely it seemed to be more apparent when he was around other toms who were openly confident in theirs.

He wished that he could just be open about it, but he was fine with taking it slow. Maybe no one would care? Eh, maybe. Wasn't that likely, but he would figure that out later. Right now he had this handsome tom to pay attention to. And thank the stars for that.
