Applekitbreathes out through his nose, eyes closed in a pained expression. Accidentally?? Applekit stands up, shakes his fur out, and turns away from the body of his Brother. He looks back once at Bro and then turns away, heading for the den. It's time to clean out. @Wolfgirl8 @Cucumberr

"What are you going to do now?" Venompaw said walking over to Applekit. She wondered if he was going to stay a rouge or come back to Shadowclan. They moved to a new location for now, found out where it was before coming here, since she would have to go back for her back

"I don't know," he says. I guess back to ShadowClan. Do you wanna come inside with me. I have a few things to get before I leave." He waits for Venompaw's reply, shaking out his tail. He can leave, now. @Cucumberr

Applekit ignores her question, instead pushing into the den. It takes a bit of a squeeze, but he makes it in. The scent of rotting prey floods his nose and makes his eyes water, but when he adjusts to the lack of light, the den is just as he remembers it.
Dark, damp soil creates a musty and humid atmosphere. There's a mouse or two in the corner, no doubt where the stench is coming from. His Bro's cushy,comfy moss bed is in the opposite corner, sheltered by some lichen growing down from the ceiling. Applekit pushes forward, stepping over familiar blood stains into the little chamber that used to be where the fox stored its food. in here, roots grow down from above and a small indent in the hard soil marks his bed. Unlike the rest of the den, this area was meticuloudly clean and organized. in the corner is a small collection of crow feathers.
Applekit turns back to his accomplice. "Whaddaya think," he asks, smiling a tiny bit. @Cucumberr

After crawling in by flattening her back out she looked around as her eyes adjusted to the dimness of the den. “It’s very humble,” she said, giving a small smile. Venompaw looked around there were two beds, and some rotting mouse in the corner as well as roots that brushed the top of her head whenever she walked as well as blood stains. She felt bad for Applekit, if he had left her sooner he might have made it in time to see his brother, but then life happened and now he has to go back to clan life which he looked liked he hated.

His smile grows a bit wider as he turns around, quickly grabs his feathers, and turns back around. Applekit searches the room with his eyes a bit before pushing back through the tunnel and slinking out of the den. He turns around and looks at the den for what's probably the last time. He doesn't know how to feel about it, a running theme recently. "Well, let's go, I guess," he says to Venompaw. @Pepperchini
