Elmkit purred in triumph as he pushed down the older apprentice, not noticing the white paw coming towards him. It hit him with a soft poor against his fur and he fell of Leopardpaws back with a playful yelp.

The abyssinian mix dared to meet his leader's gaze, eyes hardened into a glare of confusion and frustration. What type of leader refused to punish someone who had asked for it? He would have to find his own way of fixing his mistake then, if it could even be called that. A slip of the claw, Buckstar had called it. Claws didn't just slip, his had already been out for long before he attacked his sparring partner. Not with the intention to actually harm the molly, but still...
The golden tom accidentally let out a faint huff of irritation before cringing at his next mistake of the day. Hastily dipping his head towards Buckstar with a mumbled apology, the apprentice turned and made for the exit of the den, his tail inadvertedly sweeping left and right as he did so.
Outside of the den and hopefully out of Buckstar's view, Lionpaw looked up at the sky and sighed in what wasn't exactly relief. He'd screwed up. Multiple times. He'd be a fool to hope that his previous actions wouldn't get back at him later.

Kestrel let out a high-pitched squeak howl of dismay when Swallowkit launched herself straight towards him. He was older than Swallow, but StarClan liked her better, because she'd always been bigger than him. Kes hated this- but at least he was faster.
"NOOoooOOoo, I don't want to be happy!!"
Kestrel leapt off of Buckstar just quick enough to miss the brunt of Swallowkit's attack. He gasped when she still caught his back paw, and the two landed with a graceless THUD onto the earth beside Buck's nest. Ouch. Heart pounding, Kestrel scrambled up to his paws, diving against the side of Buckstar that was farthest away from Swallow. He buried his nose in the splotchy brown, white fur. Obviously he was using his leader as some type of strategic cat-shield. Not hiding. Bet Swallowkit never saw THAT coming!! After a moment, Kestrel peaked over one side of the tom, realizing Wrenkit distracted Swallow with his own attack. He grinned wide. "Go Wren!!"
When Buckstar said something about going back to the nursery, though, Kestrel's ears flattened. But they JUST GOT here! Kestrel skittered over so he could see Buckstar's face, making his eyes really big (some adults thought that was cute, he didn't know why.) Kes didn't have anything convincing to say-- but would he shut up? No. "We want to be warriors! Or-- if that's against the warrior code, what about the first kit leaders of ThunderClan? I can help you make patrols!"
