It had been a very long while since Boulderpaw had gotten a chance to throughly groom herself, so she was taking advantage of this sudden opportunity to get all of the loosened and dead fur chunks and anything else hidden and stuck to her. She wasn't dirty per se, it was mostly fur build up, but what were the chances that was all that was there? Quite slim.
She heard paw steps approaching and didn't paw them much mind until they sounded closer. Almost as if they were approaching.
She turned to look just as Bloompaw passed by her. He noticed her and smiled, waving his tail in a greeting before continuing on his way.
She blinked, kinda confused, but then resumed grooming.

At the entrance of the camp, the agile she-cat known as Dappledheart pushed into thier camp, a small vole and robin latched in her maul. With her head held high and tail up in a curl, she strutted towards the fresh-kill pile to dispose of her work. The spotted beauty took a few steps away from the pile, her large ears attentive as she examined its contents. She woild probably hunt more later. It never hurt to make sure all bellies were full. Her green gaze then fell from the pile of edible death and caught sight of the older apprentice that was grooming herself.

Walking on light steps, the slick she-cat moved over to sit next to the other, enjoying the warm beam of sunlight she found herself to be in. She then began to groom her paws, a gentle purr of content rolling in her chest. She expected that a conversation would arrise between the two, but she wasn't going to start it.

The kit padded out of the nursery and into the Clearing, looking around for a few moments before letting out a sigh. Seems as though her sister wasn't quite back yet. It was fine, she didn't mind. She'd entertain herself for a little while. Round ears quivered as she listened in on her clanmates chatter. Most of it either none of her business, or just plain boring. So the cream kit decided to tune them out. Didn't feel the need to poke into her clanmates private lives.

After looking around for entertainment she spotted a Warrior who, hopefully, wasn't too terribly busy to listen to a kits rambles. Making herself presentable the molly made her way over to ...well she couldn't quite remember their name. "Hello." she hummed, offering a smile. "If you don't mind me asking, are the days getting darker...earlier? Or are they just going by fast for me. I can't tell." she chuckled. To her it really seemed like it was becoming night faster, but maybe it was just because she was having fun?

It had been a long day, and frankly, Sweetdream was just about ready to collapse in the middle of the clearing. However the calling of a tiny voice soon had the warrior perked up and alert again. Looking over, there just so happened to be a kit... calling out to her? That was interesting, maybe she could humour the young one for a bit. Sleep could wait...

"Hello there dear!" She beamed back, patting a paw at the grass to offer a seat nearby. The next question that was raised had taken the warrior by surprise, kits really did come up with some of the funniest things! "No no, you're not imagining it. As moons pass, the days get shorter or longer depending on what the weather is like! It seems to be getting colder, so the days have begun passing by sooner. At least... I think that's how it works?" Sweetdream let out a haphazard chuckle, quite unsure of the topic herself. She knew the answer, but as to why it happened remained a mystery to the molly. "Nevermind that." She quickly dismissed, continuing on, "Anything else you have to say? Or... perhaps I could tell you some stories instead? I'm not going anywhere if you're sticking around."

What was wrong with this cat? Because something was very wrong. What he thought was an argument, even a friendly one, had quickly turned.......sinister. No, I don't want to fight. he snorted. That would be pointless and stupid. We would BOTH get in trouble, and it wouldn't solve the problem. Letting out another snort, he turned to walk away. Perhaps going for a walk in the forest, spilling some squirrel blood would calm him down a bit.
