Pinepaw was still a bit sleepy after her nap. She felt strange. The conversation with her mother, she knew it was real. And still.....
She wanted to make friends she really did. Her self-destructive tendencies had left her completely alone. Still, she didn't lose hope. The skinny calico sat and groomed her matted thin fur.

Eaglekit was curled up in her nest. Uuuugh! So boooring. Nothing to do! She was very upset about that. She flipped on her back and stared at the nursery ceiling.

Frostkit stared at the floor of the nursery while he pawed at a clump of Moss in front of him, he had reached 5 moons old already and still couldn't wait for his apprentice ceremony. Turning his blue gaze at kits who were playing together, Frostkit recalled that he didn't play a game for a long time, and he surely didn't have any siblings to play with. Or anyone, for that matter.
He still remembers the day he was born. His mother had died back then, because of him. Ever since then he was fed and taken care of by other Queens in the nursery, not belonging to anyone in particular. In other words, he had no kin. Frostkit quickly shook the thought off his mind and continued staring at something else, his mind drowning in a bottomless lake of wistful memories.
