Blackkit gave her father a small smile, imagining the look on Ashkits face. At least he wasn't as loud and chatty as anyone else she knew, except maybe Berrykit

Ashkit had no interest in Blackkit she tried to be nice at first but that didn't work so she plannes to not show any emotion.

Little half a moon old Lionkit came tottering over. "Can i pway?" He asked. (Remember he's big for his age, so about Night's size, but has a limp in his back leg. Maybe make her look at it and be like, "you sure?")

Dawnfern rolled her eyes, having a feeling this was to keep her away from Blizzardpaw. As if. She walked over to her new apprentice to touch noses. Maybe she would enjoy this. Maybe not.

Smokepaw blinked at her mentor before quietly dipping her head in greeting. "Yes, I am." she simply responded, briefly touching noses with dawnfern. She didn't have to stretched her neck in order to reach her mentor, because fortunately she was a bit taller than most cats her age. She glanced back at the imaginary figure of her mother and smiled at it before looking back at her new mentor, "When are we training first?" she asked, her face practically devoid of any emotion. hopefully this cat wasn't going to be overwhelmingly joyous, but based off of what she had seen so far, that probably wasn't going to be an issue.

Glidingfeather grunted, letting her attention slip away from the babies. She had seen this ceremony what felt like thousands of times already, so she knew she wasn't missing much by not paying attention. The dark ginger she-cat licked a paw and dragged it over her ear, letting her gaze wander through the crowd. She didn't really see anyone with a smug look, so they probably weren't going to get a new deputy this meeting. Or, Buckstar wanted to 'surprise' the not-so-lucky cat. She scoffed, rolling her eyes. It wasn't like she cared all that much about who got the new position, as long as it wasn't some arrogant, close-minded cat. Well, she assumed it would be nice if she were to be chosen, but she wasn't all that sure she would enjoy working with buckstar if she were to be chosen. Sure, he was a step up from ol' duskie, but that wasn't really saying much, is it? As much as she wanted to hated it, even she couldn't deny that he was...decent at leading, but they hadn't really had a situation arise where they necessarily needed the leader to get involved.

Her attention slowly drifted back to the meeting, a sigh coming from her, as the babies were finally done with the ceremonies. About time, too. She was glad none of them were assigned to her, because frankly, she just didn't need a baby trailing after her 24/7, did she?
