Lavenderrose strutted across the clearing to the fresh kill pile. He looked through the pile picking out what he thought was decent until he found a piece he thought was suitable for him.
“Absolutely purrrrfect piece darling, absolutely splendid.” he mewed as though this piece was alive. He liked the colors on the bird and made a mental note to bring the feathers to Smokekit so he could make him a splendid crown, or a coat, or a cute little hat. Maybe even a tail garment who knows. The possibilities were absolutely endless. It was all so extravagant.
