The tom had simply thought that they helped a cat go to sleep, like some sort of calming seed or something like that. The tom then turned his blue eyes back to Coldamber as the medicine cat began describing the use of marigold, nodding along with her instruction. "Infections.... got it. So like... use it for scratches and stuff?" Wow, how professional he sounded. Way to go Quick. He then fell quiet, awaiting any other herbs she would feel the need to explain to them. He let his eyes drift down to the marigold leaves, trying to remember their shape and smell for future reference.

Coldamber nodded at Quicksilver.
"Pretty much. I've had to use it for an ear infection, once, but it's mostly external use."
She shrugged.
"Creekdash is the only cat you'll need to keep an eye on for an extended time. Make sure he doesn't relapse. He has a severe ear infection, but he should be getting better. Otherwise, just treat the cases as they come in. Don't forget to change the moss on the wounds daily. I think you two will do fine."
Shockholly's brow went up.
"What about dandelion?"
"What?"
"Used to numb wounds, to numb certain spots, like burns. Should we use them?"
Coldamber shrugged. She never knew what dandelions did. She did now, she guessed.
"If it comes up. Questions??"
Coldamber looked to Quicksilver.

Seedpaw limped to the training moor to meet up with Shockholly. The apprentice was a bit late as she had slept in a little bit. She rushed there the best she could on her three legs. Though she didn't move too fast as she was doing some running training today. It was the last thing she needed besides her final assesment which Skunkblaze said she was more than willing to do for her. Seedpaw padded up to Shockholly. "Sorry I'm late.", the apprentice meowed.

Oh dear. She might have freaked out Seedpaw a little bit. It was just......badgers were so much like foxes, and foxes.........were not good. THEY were the reason she limped, even after almost a moon of healing, and couldn't run quickly. Well, that and the fact she didn't eat. It's fine. I.....just had a bad experience with foxes, which are pretty similar. Hopefully that would make Seedpaw feel........a little better? Because Thornpaw really, REALLY didn't want her friend to be sad. @Handsome Lion

Quicksilver could tell that Coldamber seemed surprised by Shockholly too.... where did this cat come from again? The tom couldn't remember if they were born in Windclan or from elsewhere.... he'd known some outsiders joining the clans had some herb knowledge from having to live on their own and care for themselves. Maybe that was Shockholly's case.
Nodding, towards both felines, and feeling seriously underqualified, Quicksilver gave an easy-going smile. "Nope, no questions." He looked to Shockholly, before returning his gaze to Coldamber once again. "I take it we're going to be just fine." He meowed with a soft laugh, that ended up sounding more awkward than anything. He was still terrible at this whole.... social thing. That was one good thing about Pumapaw. She was easy to interact with because all he had to do was yell at her. It was harder when he had to be nice and civil. Those things didn't come to him very well.
"Good luck on your... um.... journey. Hopefully you can help that cat." Quicksilver gave another nod with a wavering smile. He should've just not said anything more.
