"Who was it?" Amber wanted to know. Maybe she could meet her? Amber really did think that Beck was cute. The way he acted, talked, it was all cute. "Why did she decline?" Amber was also curious.

Amber heard about that person. "I've heard that name before! Amber did recall that name. She couldn't put her finger on it though. "I've heard that name. Somewhere. I've heard that name before." Amber just couldn't recall it. "S-she was my commander. I remember it now. She was my commander."

Beck's look softened. "How was it? Working with her, I mean." He saw Paige in action quite a bit before, and noticed her seemingly cold and ruthless aura when with other soldiers. Granted, the soldiers she'd been with were usually Commander Pavel, and the two "honorary members of the Occupation" that wouldn't leave Zed alone, Bartik and Hopper.
All three of these "gentlemen" would definitely warrant a cold and ruthless exterior, simply caused by their annoyance.

"Wasn't much fun. She just stationed me at a random area. She wasn't much to talk either. She was trying to catch you, if I'm correct. Amber remembered that she didn't really care about her solders.
"I wish I had a different commander. One that cared about her army. She looked back at Beck. Amber looked at the floor, and shuffled her feet on the floor.
"Can we go to your workplace now?" Amber wanted to change the subject.

"Sure; I'll grab my baton." Beck snapped out of being lost in thought to answer. "We'll be down at the garage... surveying the area for threats to the revolution," he called to Tron. "I'll teach our new recruit what she needs to know."
"Alright, but be inside before curfew," Tron growled. "Now go... have fun, I guess."
Beck tossed his baton, then caught it. "Alright then... I guess we're off."

"How long is the drive?" She didn't want to be driving for long. Amber realized that Beck was going to teach her. She slightly blushed.
