"Let's get out of here," Beck breathed, touching his burnt neck. The disc had left a mark. Not lethal, but still painful.
Tron said nothing, but activated his lightcycle and sped off. Beck followed close behind him.

The drive back to Tron's headquarters was silent, save for the roaring of two lightcycles.
When they finally arrived, Beck waited for the lecture he anticipated from Tron, pain from the burn minimized by the agony that was his "father figure" tearing holes into his ideas.
But Tron still said nothing.
Beck only found why when he walked into the main room, seeing Amber crashed on one of the pieces of furniture, breathing as if charging*. Bewildered, he called out to her.
*headcanon word for sleeping, used as a technical term while "sleeping" is more of a slang term

"Huh? Who's there?" Amber sat up, but didn't see anyone. She got off the couch and saw Beck. She ran over to him and hugged him. "You're okay!" Amber exclaimed. Her glasses were by her cloak, which was on a counter. Amber saw the burn on his neck.
"What happened?" Amber was already starting to ask questions.

"Those 'friends' of yours decided it would be a good idea to beat me up," Beck huffed, inching away from the gesture. "What I want to know is why you thought it would be fun to dupe a guy into thinking he has a friend, just long enough to lead him right into a trap."
