"Hi Brightpaw! This is Badgerpaw, she's coming along too" The tom smiled.
Everyone was here, hopefully this wouldn't be too stressful for Lotusheart, judging by her expression she didn't seem the most confident but Wolfpaw was sure everything would turn out great. Badgerpaw also seemed worried, why? There was nothing to worry about! Wolfpaw simply tried to give Badgerpaw a comforting smile.

Lotusheart got herself together.
"N-no problem, Badgerpaw. Now, our first exercise will be a freestyle attack. Badgerpaw, this might be, um, difficult for you as, uh, you've never had battle training, but I suggest you do your best. The idea is, all of you try to attack me. Usually, 3 on 1 isn't fair but... "she looked at her flank in embarrassment.
" I guess my big size is finally good for something... "the large white she-cat murmured. She got into position.
" OK, if you want, make up a strategy quietly. Attack at once, take turns, it's your choice. "she mewed.

"Okay!" Wolfpaw meowed.
The gray tabby huddled around the other two apprentices far from Lotusheart where she couldn't hear, he didn't really actually have any plan though. He would go along with anything really.
"Anyone got any ideas?" he asked the group.

"Um, maybe two of us could attack while one of us sneaks up on her from behind?" The black and white she-cat said. "If two of us attack, she'll be distracted. Maybe the sneaker could use the river to hide." @Shadeleaf @Goldenmac @Evie

The ideas sounded good, Wolfpaw took a moment to imagine how it would play out, one cat springing on to Lotusheart while another attacks her and while one cat pounces on her from the river.
"Sounds good, i'm fairly good at swimming so i'll be the sneaker, who can jump best here?" the gray tabby asked.
The sun seemed to shine brightly that day, leaves rustling in the wind, a great day for some swell battle training! Wolfpaw had never participated in an actual fight, the thought of cats wrestling just to win some trees while blood spilled on the autumn grass disgusted him. He knew he would have to fight some day and he dreaded that day.

"Alright Tinyfeatherpaw! Let's get this rolling."

Lionstar spun on his paws as soon as they hit the training island, expectant gaze on his apprentice. "I want you to show me your best defensive stance. Try to spread your weight - keep yourself balanced so it's hard for you to get knocked over.

"Once you're in it, I'm going to smack you. Not toooo hard, just enough to test your distribution. We'll go into some defensive maneuvers and counter attacks once you have this down. Any questions?"

The young tom rolled his eyes with a annoyed huff, "you already said that." His ears pinned back annoyed, not fully but enough to show the message.

Although this was Bristlepaw's second time out of the territory, and usually apprentices were all excited or what not, he was unimpressed. The land here was no different than what Cattail pond had been. At least then he had been able to swim. How he loved to swim but would never admit it. Either way, it was getting too cold to swim with his thick fur. It hadn't developed that oily way of slicking the water off of it yet, so he'd just get sick most likely if he were to take a dip. Jumping across the small stream that lined the training grounds, he waited for Fennelheart to instruct him with whatever her old bones could do.

Fennelheart smirked,” Defend yourself. I need to see how your instincts and reflexes are.“ she explained before springing forward trying to pounce on Bristlepaw.

Tinypaw stopped whenever Lionstar did as to not run into him. He didn't want to seem clumsy when he only was when the voices and hallucinations happened. "Nope no questions.", he meowed with confidence. He hoped he wouldn't regret that answer. Tinypaw stood with one leg out and keeping his body low. He kept his paws onto the ground with all his weight which wasn't much.
