Pavel put some headphones on. He kept on rewriting code. Skye will be much different. Much. He didn't look at Skye until he was barley close to half way done.

The fluid closed over her head. Even though she held her breath, the pressure made her oxygen reserve drain fast. Her lungs began to burn, and she fought the urge to open her mouth and breathe again.

Pavel didn't notice. Or care, really. He was busy. She didn't matter right now. He kept on adding new code, and changing a few things about Skye.

Her peripheral vision darkened. She tried not to struggle, but survival instincts kept her moving. Bright warning specks danced before her eyes.
it was unbearable. The pressure in the tank felt like the weight of a hundred recognizers being dropped on her chest.
And soon, she slipped into unconsciousness, the voxels making up her physical brain slowly derezzing.

(Oh gotcha--)
The temperature cooled around her, although she wasn't aware of it. Her joints became stiff, and she remained motionless, suspended in the fluid. Her hair was still practically levitating, frozen in time.
Even the voxels in her body were preserved, although damaged. They were on the process of regeneration, but the cold kept them paused.

All of Skye's functions paused. Pulse, regeneration, thought processes, everything. They were all suspended due to the cryogenic freeze.

After about 10-ish hours, Pavel was done. He unlocked Skye's chamber, and gave back her disc. "What is my name?" Pavel asked the program.

Skye slowly opened her eyes, the fluid making them stick together slightly.
"Master," she responded in a monotone voice. Her limbs felt stiff, but she paid them no heed.
