I won't! Scratch purred soothingly, guiding her quickly into his den. Motioning for her to sit down, he laid down at the entrance. I couldn't hurt a pretty thing like you! There are just some.....dangerous cats around here, that's all. No need to mention who those cats were, being him. The wheels were turning in his brain, and not in a good way. He wanted kits, to train. Something seemed to have gone......awry with Rip, and he blamed her mother. To thinking, not obedient enough. If she kept rebelling, he might have to replace her. But he needed a student, a kit. One to train, to become as ruthless as he, but obedient to his will. And this, seemingly well built she-cat could help him get them. @Star Wolf

"Alright!" Qunice became trusting of this tom at once. "Why do you care, though?" Once again, she got her collar got stuck. "Dang it!"

Good, it had worked. She was trusting him, which was what he wanted. If she trusted him, then it would be all the easier to get what he wanted. Kits. At her question, his guess that this would be easy became more pronounced. Ah, she was playing RIGHT into his paws, like the easiest hunt ever. With a purr, he answered Because you are a beautiful kittypet, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you! It would be SUCH a shame! Another purr, drape the tail over her back. Same old same old really. This one would be no different, even easier he supposed. @Star Wolf

Ah, right into the paws, it seemed the tail hadn't been to much, which he was glad about. That one had been taking a bit of a chance, if he had to be honest with himself. The next question paused him, it was so perfect. To perfect to be true it seemed. He almost suspected a trick, but he didn't think she was that.........tricky. His breath catching, almost in his haste, or nervousness to get it out, Scratch mewed The thing I want most would be.......kits. And then, feeling an urge to justify, he added Because they're just to innocent, and adorable. @Star Wolf

Deciding that now wouldn't be the time to push it, Scratch purred. Would you like some prey? he offered, knowing there was a pigeon in the next cave over. It was fairly plump, for this time of year, and it might impress her a bit. No need to mention that he hadn't caught it, it had been his daughter. Not really waiting for an answer, the tom slid out quickly, aware that she could leave if she wanted, but trusting she wouldn't. After all, he hadn't done anything suspicious yet as far as he could tell. Returning with the bird, he laid it down in front of her, suppressing his little stomach rumblings as the birds warm scent flooded his mouth. Near on irresistible, even for a kittypet. @Star Wolf

Settling down beside her, Scratch prodded the bird forward, a nice expression on his face. Well? Do you want it? he asked, unsure if he had messed up somehow. He had mostly just.....forced Rip's mother into it. That was always an option, but it might work well enough to try the nice route. But if it hadn't yielded some results soon, it would be plan B, the forced version. He knew it wouldn't be great in the long run, but he would really have no need of her once the kits were weaned. They would be his, only his, to teach the way HE wanted. @Star Wolf
