Paige said nothing at first. Then after a moment of silence, she took a breath and responded. "Alright, but I won't be coming with you. Pilot; take us to... Able's garage."

Chris nodded, and told Amber to let go of him. She did, and saw Paige. She waved at her. Chris waited for the pilot to go. They were off in a jiffy.

Paige waved back as they departed, hoping they'd get there safe. She wondered why that was the place they wanted to go. It didn't make sense. They weren't mechanics, were they?

Mechanics? That's kinda cool, her eyes lit up at that and a faint smile could be seen. Although she cocked her head to the side "I havent- why?... What's the renegade ?" she hasn't really heard of it as a group...but more or less a song "do you mean Renegade by styx?..." she asked .

"No, silly, he's a program!" Mara laughed. "And just about the coolest one to walk the Grid." She took off her disc and pulled up a couple memories featuring the aforementioned "Renegade". "He fights against CLU's forces here in Argon. He's... he's kind of my hero. Literally and figuratively."

Her eyes widened at the memories playing like a video tape. I've never used my disc like that before - cool!
Although her stomach tightened . Did she say,enemies?
"there's bad guys here?... I thought this place was safe- " now she secretly hoped that this renegade person was able to actually stop them. "I can see why- hopefully he sticks around for a good while .."

"We've been occupied by CLU's soldiers for at least a hundred cycles now," Mara sighed. "Just when we thought everything was going to cubes, he showed up." She smiled fondly at the white-suited figure for a moment. "It's kind of sad that nobody's tried to help him out yet. I mean, I tried, but he wouldn't let me for some reason. I proved to be far more capable than his other options, and yet..." she sighed. "Oh, well. I guess he just didn't want my help."

well there's probably a lot of reasons for that-
"I don't think he wanted you in any controversial or political mess with CLU....yknow maybe he didn't want you to have them on your shoulders too...I can go on-" she offered . It shouldn't be all that complicated as to why he didn't want her help. .or maybe it was and she just didn't get it. Looking out into the street and up at the sky seeing that the ship is no where in sight "I should go, I don't think you'd want a stranger in your home. Besides how bad could be getting caught be ?"
