Mara glanced at the object Pavel had used to shock Jaran, and furrowed her brow. "Take it easy, don't fall over on us now." She took hold of the device and tried to pry it off of his skin. "Zed?"

"Huh?"

"Small hands. Bring 'em here." He obeyed, trying to wedge his fingertips under the rim of the metal object. When he tried to rip it off, it sent an electrical pulse up his arms. Mara caught him, but he was still quite stunned.

"Hang on-- let me try." Skye dug her fingers under the device, and though it shocked her, she was able to remove it. Smoke rose from her singed, blackened hands, but they regenerated a new layer of voxels a moment later. "Wow... something else cool I can do, I guess. That... that hurt."

The ISO heard muffled speech near him, he turned to the group of unidentified programs. "Uhm, I can't see anything, who's over here?" And then he realized it was a dumb question to ask. He wouldn't be able to hear them. "I can't.. hear either."

"It's a great thing, considering how many of them like to hang out at the HT. And they'll be down in a minute. Zed's pretty punctual; Beck's the one that takes forever and a cycle."

A dark-skinned, lanky male program with white and teal circuitry stepped out of the garage elevator, messing with his slick black hair to make sure it looked alright. "Oh-- Mara! Uh... hi."

"Zed, this is Vernal. Vernal; Zed. Also my best friend." She turned to him for a moment. "She was wandering the streets last night after curfew. I brought her in so she wouldn't get in trouble with our resident 'patrollers'."

"Nice to meet you," Zed held out a hand for Vernal to shake. "So... not from Argon, then, huh?"

Wow- he's kinda cute ..in a nerd type way
She shook his hand since she felt more comfortable around these people. "no I'm originally from Arjia...but I hopped around the place . Hopefully I can stay here for a good while . So what do you do here?"

"We're mechanics, actually. Um... I'm more into vehicle engineering," Zed grinned.

"And I'm the resident weapons specialist," Mara added. "He builds things, and I... build things that break other things." She put an arm around him and laughed. "Is Beck on his way?"

"He should be; I mean... he was just tired. Only got up a few micros ago."

Chris called out for anybody that could help him. Seemed like nobody cared that he was bleeding on the floor, with a disc wound to the shoulder. And it was his mechanical arm too. He sighed. Skye did fix him before, maybe she could do it again? "Skye, could you help me?" Chris called out for her name.

Amber got up, and went to Skye. She asked if she needed any help. Amber did have her did have her disc out. She heard more movement behind the bushes.

The tall, fair-skinned program stepped out of the elevator a moment later, as if on cue. He rubbed his eyes with one hand. "I'm here now; did you need me?" He leaned against the wall. "Oh-- hello," he said, noticing Vernal.

Vernal gave a hum at Zeds answer only to quickly turn her attention to beck. so many people...AAAGH! inside she was slightly panicking . "Hey! Beck right?" of course it is stupid ... laughing nervously she returned her attention to zed and mara. Did she say weapons ? And vehicles?
"can you make me a light cycle? " she grinned and held her fists up in an excited way.
