Her attention returned to Mara only to give a confused look at the baton . " thanks! But how do they work?" she said as she grabbed the device. Studying it over a few minutes she looked at Zed " since your more of a ..bike tech how do these turn into a bike?"

"Uh... the same way every other bike works," he said, snapping his in half. The bike generated part by part beginning with the handlebars, which happened to be the two halves of the baton. "Simple."

She gave a smile to beck only for her jaw to drop at the bike. " SWEET!" I mean how am I supposed to know how they work? I've never had a lightbike before-
She went out into the street only to break the baton in half which formed the lightcicle bike thing. Hearing the engine rumble she hopped on " this is pretty cool, hey wanna race?"

"You're on!" Mara laughed, revving the engine of her own bike. "It's two lefts, a straightaway, a right, and then it'll be on your left. See ya there!" she called, rocketing off in a cloud of silver dust. Zed followed behind her, not exactly feeling up for a race, just trying to keep up.
