Re: Pain Tolerance Training [open to apps/warriors!]
Dovepaw thought for a minute rocks are too small so probably a tree.
She darted to a tree then started to slide sideways hitting her side on it.
Puan shot through and she felt her nose go numb.
She layed for a minute then got up doing it over and over. @ Puddle~

Lizardpaw silently obeyed. She found a nice flat rock, rushed at it, and slammed her body sideways. The impact was unpleasant and knocked out a lot of air but it wasn't too painful. She was used to combat training and being flung. After a while, she tried again, though this time the impact was stronger and hurt a bit more.

Nighttuft blinked. Okay... She thought and swung her head around to search for a rock. Seeing one, she walked in a moderate paste, then sped up and soon bashed into it with her side. She fell down, but surprisingly it wasn't too painful. She stood back up.

@ Dipper
Blizzardsky flicked his tail,” That wasn’t what I was told to do...but I can show you some tougher more painful pain tolerance exercises...though that thing where you were removing your fur looked like a very good one.“ he commented recalling the day he saw Frozenpaw yanking fur out of their skin

Re: Pain Tolerance Training [open to apps/warriors!]
Duskfrost paced around the edge of the area where the warriors and apprentices were sparring and training. Was this a waste of time? Instead of learning to hunt, or build dens, or fight for their clan, they were getting beaten up to teach pain tolerance? He sat down with a slightly annoyed look on his face, easily getting lost in thought.

Re: Pain Tolerance Training [small group sessions]
{Note: For those not involved in the current rp who would like their cat to join a future session, please vm me.}
Berryscorch led the way out to the training island, checking back periodically to affirm the four trainees she'd gathered were still in pursuit. Things hadn't gone so well last time she'd taught this training--the groups had been far too large to manage. Hopefully, a smaller grouping like this would prove to be more convenient.
Arriving at the small island, the bicolored molly came to a halt, turning to face the group. "Alrighty. Everyone listen up. You're all here because you wanted to learn pain tolerance, correct? And you wanted this elite form of training, why, exactly? Probably because you wanted to expand your skillset and grow to be the greatest warriors you can be." She was mainly targeting the three apprentices here, though the same could still be applied to Lizardfrost.
"That being said, if you stick with this training and keep it up, I assure you will see results. If you choose to drop out, that's fine by me, but hey, it's your loss." Mini pep talk aside, it was time to get into the real stuff. The pain.
"Sooo, let's begin, shall we? This first exercise simulates the pain you might feel from a rough blow, or if an opponent were to fall hard on top of your paws. I want each of you to find a tough object--whether it be a rock or a tree or whatever. Start kicking your paws against it, a couple of times for each paw. Doesn't have to be as hard as possible, but make sure you're using enough force to cause some level of pain. Remember--the whole point of this is to get used to dealing with these types of pain. Don't be surprised when it hurts."

@ Phantom Puddle~
Lizardfrost soundlessly walked over to a tree. She was partially used to kicking as it was her main battle move, so she needed to kick hard to cause pain. She started spending blow after blow at the tree, feeling the burning pain in her paws and still hitting it.

Re: Pain Tolerance Training [open to apps/warriors!]
Primrosepaw wasn't sure what all of it was about, but it seemed fun so she followed-- even though she was mostly unaware of the groups goal. The near kitten sized apprentice tilted her head as Berryscorch spoke, and while doupting at first, eventually came to understand what had to be done. Mostly. She felt around with her paws until coming across a smooth rock of a decent size. There, a bit hesitant at first, she started to land blows on it. Likely far not hard enough to cause any actual pain, though it would get rather uncomfortable after a while.

Almondspirit quietly sat on the side. Should he join? "What are we doing?" He asked.
