She pinpointed the location of the fracture and used an extra cloth to apply pressure, in case there was internal bleeding. Then, she took two appropriately-sized planks of debris and used them to make a splint above and below the break.
"Should be fine now, just don't move it a whole lot."

"Ok." Bella said walking to Sid. She crouched in front of him and shrugged one pack off her back and dropped the other. Studying what was in them she smiled upon seeing water, ice, and bandages. "Let me see it." Bella said looking at him. The smile was gone but a fierceness shone in the wolfs eyes, she would do anything to help her friends despite her aloof and uncaring demeanor. Petra was aware of the things that lurked in the desert-- maybe not familiar with the mutants yet, but there were all kinds of venomous snakes and spiders and things of that sort. "Besides-- we've all seen an action movie or two; that train's going to erupt if the fire gets to the fuel car!"

"Petra, first we need to look after the injured. I have to see what I did to my ankle before we can go, Sid's burn needs treated, and someone needs to gather all the supplies up." Bella said. She hated the desert yes, but she also knew how to survive in it. "Make sure we have plenty of water or we're all dead." Bella added. Grabbing some water and a bit of ice she studied Sids burn. "This is gonna hurt like hell, just be ready." Bella said. Then the wolf poured a few drops of water on the burn.
